New Week, New book!

Hello Lovers! Happy Valentine's day! If you are single like me, then I hope you enjoyed getting through your secret stash of chocolate and your pile of romcoms you saved for a rainy day (or as I call it, basically any day of the week). If you're not single, then please leave me alone so I can eat a tray of donuts and watch film adaptations of literally any Nicholas Sparks novel.

I finally finished The Scam, by Janet Evanovich and Lee Goldberg! Now, Janet Evanovich is my favourite author, so she could write a restaurant menu and I'd go and read it. But I've found the Fox and O'Hare books to be a little hard to understand at times. The characters jump from location to location really quickly, and sometimes it feels like the story is too fast paced. That being said, The Scam was probably my favourite one out of the series so far! It was a really interesting plot and the story really had me hooked.

I've also been doing a bit of writing this week, which felt so great, because it feels like I've spent half my life just editing the manuscript for my first novel. This second is going to be really great, I can just feel it!

I'll be starting Me and Earl and a Dying Girl this week, which I'm really looking forward to. I've heard amazing things about this book, so my expectations are high. Hope you have a lovely week! xx Me and Earl and the Dying Girl by Jesse Andrews
