Just a smile
O lady just meet the guy
Say a few words and give that smile
Your smile will bring the man back to life
A life he will cherish, memories he will relish
The man will try if only circumstances permits
If only he get an opportunity to live
Meeting his soul can only happen
If he survive this night that darkens
And so darkens the loss he had today
But I know the man will live
The ray of hope to meet you still persist
Missed the opportunity he missed today
But someday O lady the man will have his say
The day will come someday…
A favour
I can sense that smile that crossed your face
How cute it would be, the man misses again
If only the man was a magician
Could have gone back in time
To make up for the loss he had today
But the truth is, the man is a mortal soul.
Died today; the loss to be mourned.
But tomorrow, the man will rise again
and will try to meet the girl once again.
Forgive the sins; O lady, the man committed
For him, as you had waited
The man will do the justice this time.
You will punish him for his crime.
But please O lady just do him a favour.
Kill him with your smile and not your anger.
And then I change
And one day I changed, you are surprised, but yes I changed
The change was inevitable, I carried the burden of being myself
When all you wanted in me was a change
I tried, I struggled, I fought back
But it was important for me to change.
To save whatever was left
To make you realize what I was, I changed
With hopes that this change will bring us together
Whatever I have become you will find it better
So why is this surprise that I have changed?
So why this worry that I have changed?
The change was the only option you left me
To save us, all I did was to change me
And now that I have changed
You want the old me is this not strange
I do what you want me to, I will again change
Because I know to save us, all I need to do is change.
