Finishing My MFA Journey and A New Beginning
Hi folks,
Spring is springing, and I am beginning my final semester of graduate school, complete with all the ridiculous pressure we put on ourselves to be perfect. I am so not perfect, and I am trying to convince myself that that's okay.
Between the deadlines and drafts, I have moved from our cozy abode in town to a two-and-a-half acre homestead, where Hubby and I are beginning a whole new adventure. You can catch up with those adventures and more on my author website and blog at http://dechandlerwrites.com where you will also find all of my social links and several of my YouTube videos (another new adventure I'm starting) posted.
Also in the works is the third book in The Nova Wave series, tentatively titled Sacrifice. Still working on getting all of the pieces in the right spots, but they are definitely starting to come together.
I hope to have much more news for you soon, and until then I hope you are well, happy and loved.

Working on Nova Wave and Weathered
Hi folks,
I know I haven't been very active here, but I'd love to share with you the reasons why. I have been working on finishing up my Bachelor's Degree, developing several support projects, and working on two books at once. It's been a crazy three years. I am into the second draft on Nova Wave, and my upcoming collection Weathered is nearing completion.
Nova Wave, book 2 in the series of the same name was supposed to have been out October 2017. Well, hubby was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer, and long story short, it kept us both hopping. Add in school, and of course it's a recipe for delay.
As this, my senior year draws to a close, I wanted to pop in here and just let you all know that I am still here, still working, and still aiming to have Weathered out this fall.
Nova Wave may take longer, but I want it to be the best book it can be for you.
Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. You are why I'm in it.
