The Paperbacks are Coming!
I didn't have class today so I spent the day trying to catch up on a few things. Since I am the neat freak, and P.R. is most certainly not, I have been trying to get some spring cleaning done around here while P.R. is in Chile. It's much easier when I only have to work around Shaggy, not Shaggy and another person. I can get away with leaving Shaggy on the balcony while I mop the floors but P.R. hates it when I try to do that. So, this morning I gave Shaggy a bone and put him on the balcony while

I Need a New Head
It would be great if you could get a head transplant. I'd want one with less grey hair, fewer wrinkles, and one that works without pain. For those who don't know, I have a rare neurological condition called an Arnold Chiari Malformation. In 2004 I had seven surgeries in six months to try to help treat some of the symptoms that come with this condition. When all was said and done I developed hydrocephalus from the first surgery, I ended up almost dying after the sixth surgery, and spent about

Into the West: A New Home eBook Back Online
I managed to get Into the West: A New Home reedited and published again on Amazon. It should be available for purchase again later today May 17th, 2016. I hope to work on the formatting for the paperback tonight and have both part one and two available again in paperback by the end of the week. There will also be a limited edition version with both one and two in one volume so people who previously bought Into the West: The Orphan Trains with the typos included will be able to get an updated

Feeling Accomplished!
After three days with a migraine I got up today feeling pretty good. I took advantage of the good day and got a lot of things on my to do list checked off. Luckily, the weather was very nice so I was able to put Shaggy out in the back yard for a few hours with I worked in the house. After making sure Shaggy had plenty of toys, shade, water, and food, I came in and got to work. We had a stack of boxes I had been planning to put into storage in the basement and finally got everything carried down

What a Pain . . .
I think Mother Nature hates me. If not, why does she always try to kill me every spring? I think the layer of pollen on our patio would be nearing a quarter of an inch if we hadn't had a few light rains. As it is, my lungs sound like air leaking out of a balloon when I breathe and I've had a serious migraine since Friday. I think part of why I have been hit so hard is because I'm so rundown. I have been trying to keep up with school, writing, taking care of the my home and family and I've been

The Orphan Train is Back on Track
Sorry about the pun, I just couldn't resist. Into the West: The Orphan Train is in review on Amazon right now. With any luck, the ebook version should be available again sometime tomorrow. I'm going to start working on the ebook version of Into the West: A New Home to get it back up here this week and then this weekend I will get both loaded up for paperback publication. The plan is to get both books back up in their individual forms then put together the special limited edition paperback with

For a Limited Time Only ...
I think I may have come up with a way to get a new print copy to everyone who bought Into the West: The Orphan Train in paperback but it would require you buy Into the West: A New Home. For a limited time, I would make a special edition available for sale that has both Into the West: The Orphan Train and Into the West: A New Home available in one volume for just the price of one. It is the best solution I have been able to come up with to get people a new copy of part one without anyone having
