Another Sample

Just a short snip this time this is from roughly the middle of chapter 2.

“I will be fine. In the forest a tree slash my arm as it fell on the trail behind me. There is a strangeness about, I cannot explain. You should not have come none the less I am ever so glad to see you!”

“This strangeness you say. That is what I have came about. When your return was late I started to gain concern but then at the well…. “She hesitated afraid of sounding a loon as she had at home telling her parents, “Yes strangeness indeed.”

Have the tittle narrowed down to 4 choices now trying to pick one soon!

Next book SNEAK PEAK!!

Currently UN-titled here is a small bite of my upcoming release! More samples to come and watch out for updates of release dates for this book!

The wind howled through the trees with a suspicious wolf howl like cry, trees bending over slapping and clattering as the branches slap against one another. With every step down the dirt wagon trail Shilow became further uneasy, walking with caution ears alert eyes bouncing in every direction focused as much as possible on the darkest night he had ever seen.

Shilow had made this trip countless times in the past, however there was something different about this trip. The darkness as seamed thicker than grits while the heavy breeze felt as if it where grabbing at you dragging almost forcing the pace to a crawl.

Having been gone for nearly three weeks already Shilow was eager to reach his home village of Sandria. His journey to the city of Chriola to deliver the skins owed for the families grain supply went better than expected even allowing him to bring a few gifts for his sister and mother. In the back of his head he wondered if he would even make it through the forest and feared his family may never see his gifts. He was already too far into the forest to turn back trying to ignore the odd pressure of the seemingly enchanted path Shilow vowed to press on.

Preparing for the worst Shilow reached down ensuring his dagger and back knife remained secure in the in the leather holster he made for this trip. Typically he always carried his bow and arrow with paired with a short blade. With the skins being carried that was simply an unreasonable addition to the load forcing this alternative weapon choice. The journey has always been peaceful but wildlife of all forms shared the wooded path. Remembering his first journey to the city where he was forced to lay down a mammoth wolf Shilow never ventured into the woods or to the city without means of protection. With about three days left on his hike back home Shilow was becoming even more certain he would need it and eagerly awaited exiting the woods before. Any normal night that would be an easy feat with only a few miles left before reaching the last valley before Sandria.

As he approached the next bend in the road Shillow stopped dead in his tracks. The sound of snapping branches, crunching leaves and ground shacking pounds came from behind. Like nothing he had heard before, this wasn’t a bear, a pounce of a deer or sprint of a wolf. This was like nothing he had heard before while the howl of wind increased nearly drowning out the sound of the trees Shillow quickly ran to the cover of the biggest tree trunk off the road.

Peaking around the tree he could still faintly hear the ferocious sound of movement that stopped in the tracks. He could see nothing with the wind creating an even louder howl all other sounds faded for only a second, his head pounded from the screeching wind above his head when suddenly a tree not more than ten paces from him suddenly uprooted crashing to the ground behind him.

Suddenly everything seemed to stop. No more wind. No more howling, and even scarier, not even a hint of movement around him. It felt as all around him just froze in time.

Instantly Shillow rushed back to the road and continued on his way, this time with at much greater pace. He had no idea what it was he had heard or what was going on in this forest on the darkest night he had ever seen, but his gut told him it was terrible.

The Proper Cat

This s the first book I published myself! I wrote this book just for the experience of the publishing and learning the processes.

Overall I have received good feedback on this on so will be updating soon with a nicer cover and better editing.

IN THE BOOK…

I talk first about why cats react the way they do, and how their brain works. Cats require repetition and have virtually no sense of time.

Next i go into practice for training your cats out of different behaviors such as poor litter box practices, jumping on the counters, clawing and so on.

This book is not just about training the cats though. Its also about us as pet owners supplying the tools necessary for them to form thee right habits easily.

Throughout the book I also slide in a few stories of experiences the wife and I have had with our own two cats. We have had them since they where babies rescuing them from dirty place where they definitely where not receiving the care they needed. We found out at the first vet visit that they where so young they should have been with the mother despite the fact they where already separated two weeks before we got them.

It was a battle to keep the fur balls healthy and get them to the correctly weight but three years later now they are still happy, healthy and full of spunk!

Now I hope you do enjoy this book and come back to share the silly things your cats do!

HERE is a direct link to Amazon. If you like please grab a copy and leave me some feedback there. THANK YOU!!
