Red Rocks 1996 Concerts

I went to the Lucero and Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats show last night at Red Rocks and came across this plaque. It shows all the concerts that were at Red Rocks in 1996.

I went to Bush, No Doubt, Goo Goo Dolls, Warped Tour, 311, White Zombie, Pantera, Blues Traveler and probably a few other I can’t remember but this show was the one I was looking forward to the most; Rage Against the Machine.

Smashing Pumpkins Setlist and Audio from the Friday, August 30th Chapter

Here is the setlist and recorded audio from the Smashing Pumpkins at McNichols Arena in Denver, CO on 8-30-1996. Below the song listing in my ticket stub from the show. The show was $27.50 with what looks like a $3.50 service charge; bringing the total to $31.00.

One Year, 77000 Words and 4 Drafts Later

One year ago today I started typing the first few words of chapter one. I found an old journal while cleaning one night and typed a couple words. Those words turned into a couple sentences and those sentences turned into a few pages. I was on my way.

I can’t believe that in a year I finished the book as well as 4 drafts. It is a pretty awesome feeling!!

4th draft Completed!

361 days after starting I completed the 4th draft! Getting closer and closer to the final project. Finish line is in site!!
