Urban Book Review of Teenage Degenerate
Teenage Degenerate by S. C. Sterling is a powerful tale about falling into addiction and getting out of it. This nonfiction book, took me deeply into the writer’s journey from the moment he got hooked until the ending. Raw, emotional, and well-told. I felt the emotions grab me with every page. Addiction is a frightening place to find oneself and then to get to a place where there’s only two roads – fall deeper or climb out.

Finished Editing the 2nd Draft of 33% Rockstar
I finished editing the second draft of my new novel 33% Rockstar: Music, Life and Other Stories in the Pursuit of Rock Stardom on Thursday, March 15th. I started the second week of January and it took a little more than 9 weeks.
It took a little longer than I planned, but I pretty happy with the results. I feel there is a few sections that need a lot of work and hopefully those sections come together in the third draft. I am going to let this draft rest for about a week than begin the process...

Amazon Review of Teenage Degenerate
As part of my job as a news reporter, I cover the local court system. Currently an influx of methamphetamine abusers have been filing into the Carbon County District Court. My interest in learning about addicts peaked from following those court cases. From there I started watching Breaking Bad and read Beautiful Boy by David Sheff and Tweak by Nic Sheff (the beautiful boy).

Recent Visit to the Denver Public Library
Teenage Degenerate from Colorado and Denver author Scott C. Sterling is now available at the downtown Denver Public Library. The library is located at 10 W. Fourteenth Ave. Pkwy., Denver, CO 80204.
I recently took a trip to the library and located the book on the shelves between Zeitgeist by Bruce Sterling and Almonds to Zhoof by Richard G. Stern. It was an surreal feeling to see a Denver Public Library sticker on the front cover.
