New Stuff
I know, I know, it's been a while since I've written anything here. It's been a busy couple of years. In the time since I've written last, I've self-published a new edition of My Immortal, 'm Cara and have quit my 'regular' job to become a full-time freelance writer. It's quite a bit of work and mostly involves ghostwriting, but I get to work in my pajamas while listening to music, so the extra hours are worth it.
While I don't get as much time to work on my own writing as I'd like, I did put together a short story collection titled This Weak and Idle Theme which you can check out on Amazon. It's available both in paperback and e-book form. I also have my fifth novel, The Dragon Three being considered by a new publishing house.
That said, I plan on making updates here on a more regular basis, so keep your eyes peeled because I've got some really great things coming up!

My Immortal, 'm Cara
My fourth novel, My Immortal, ‘m Cara, is now available at both www.publishingroom.com/ as well as Amazon.com (ISBN: 9781604818475). Other online markets should soon follow. Retail stores and libraries are able to purchase it through Publishing Room, but are not going to be contacted by the publisher. Currently, it is only available in paperback and is approximately five hundred pages in length. It is a paranormal / supernatural romance that takes a bit of different view on the whole concept of a relationship between a mortal and an immortal.

Fourth Novel
I am pleased to announce the upcoming release of My Immortal, 'm Cara. A supernatural / paranormal romance, it is my longest work yet, coming in at 500 pages. It will be available online by mid-February and I am hoping to have book signings and speaking engagements this coming spring and summer.
(If anyone knows of an organization that may be interested, please contact me. While I am located in Northeastern Ohio, I do have family around the United States so travel isn't entirely out of the question.)
More information is available on my Facebook pages, my official site and, now, on Twitter. :)

Reeves's Island on Screen
This was originally posted on Christa Earnhardt's Facebook page, but I'm re-posting it here for those of you she either missed or doesn't have you as a friend. The only thing I changed from her original note is the spelling of the book.
"So, as many of you know: I’m going to school right now to be a director. It just so happens that a friend of mine who is a fantastic writer as presented me with a script. We have been in deliberation and the editing process for about two months and now it seems as if the dream is going to be a reality (with God’s grace)!
Who is this writer? None other than Victoria Perkins (The Road Home, 3-2-1). The story is the first Perkins publication: Reeves’s Island.
This note is basically a casting call: all who are interested are invited to audition. Auditions will be held March 15th and 16th. The location and times are TBA. All those who express interest will be notified. It is possible to request a personal audition if neither of these times work but you’ll have to e-mail me about it.
Auditions will require you to learn a part of the script and perform it. Again, those who are interested will receive the piece. Be prepared, however, to do more than just that. ;)
All those under 18 will need their parents to sign a release form if they are chosen to be in the film. Those 18 or older will sign their own.
ALSO: if you’re interested but you don’t really want to act, WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!!! It takes more than just a director, an almighty producer and a cast to make a movie! Again, just let me know if you’re interested.
And don't forget to tell everyone who might be interested!! The more the merrier!!
Our e-mails are listed below if you have any questions. Hope to hear from you soon!!

Third Novel
How exciting that my first blog is an announcement that my third novel Three, Two, One has been accepted by PublishAmerica! Darker than my other two books, this is the story of the Chapman triplets: Cassidy, Nora and Jessica. The story begins just after the death of Jessica... or is it Cassidy? Mistaken identity, murder, insanity and romance all make for an exciting journey back into Wycliffe, Ohio. I should have more information on release dates, appearances, book signings, etc. as the summer continues.
