What Is So Special About "The God of Alpha"?
The God of Alpha is my first book in my Sky-Titans book series. It's an origin story based on one of my original characters I created when I was very young, "Stringy and Mopy". Mopy's story was not outlined nor was it explored, so I was searching for ideas.
The story centers around the origins of Michael Gilliganson, a naive young boy living in a small Georgia town in the late 1920s befriends a young girl who can transform into a werecat using a superpowerful badge called The Badge of Alpha. This story is inspired by most of the werewolf stories I would be reading and twisting it.
Instead of a moon, the badge has the power to transform the user into a therianthrope. And I wanted to have my werewolves be more...divine. So i made them to fly. Yes a flying werewolf lol. And yes its a thing haha.
In the book I wanted to make the antagonist to be a little interesting. Something strange and daring...but risky. Michael's best friend Ricky, is the son of a Klansman, Vince. A vicious, disgusting man from the town. Not spoiling anything away, its an amazing book you must check out.
