Vampire Ninja

I wish I could find the original conversation on LJ, but I remember that I was home visiting my parents and being a shameless bum on their couch. This was several years ago now. Back then, I was still writing for free, and often got roped into doing stuff by my crazy ass friends (Magic & Mischief, and is called The Spawn.

The second story started with a mock argument of the age old debate of who would win in pirates vs. ninjas. Somewhere in the mess, it was decided I should just write a story...

Monday Things

Good morning, peeps. How was your weekend? What are your plans for the week? I spent a good chunk of the weekend making covers and writing.



I also finally did a real cover for Love You Like a Romance Novel, since the other one was never meant to be permanent (and sucked):



For those that missed it, since the weekend is probably the worst time to post anything (I know that's when I'm usually doing everything not related to my computer, I was the last to know it had gone up), my Love is Always...

Busy Busy Busy :3

I am slowly catching up on all the work that fell by the wayside in the move. The most time-consuming and exhausting of these projects is the print books. I am nearly done with getting them ready, and hopefully by the end of the week I will have ordered proofs for:

Sword of the King
Saving Liam
Deceived
Impractical
Treasure
Burning Bright


We're also ordering stock for those, as well as Vixen and Legend & Lore, which is the compilation of Forest of Fenris and Desert Fire by the lovely TT Kove....

Very Weird

So, today is my first day as a free woman. I no longer have a day job, my only chance of paying bills resides exclusively with LT3. Eep. But, I am excited. This means I can devote all my time to the company and to writing, and accomplish more with both.

This week is mostly about catching up on things I have put off and put off because other things were just more important. I will also be trying to catch up on my writing.

So much writing, so little time

As ever, I am behind on everything. I love being a publisher, but it makes it hella difficult to just write sometimes.

My immediate to do list is:

Meant to Be
The Mermaid
The Christmas Package

and come October, I have to finish whatever of that list I have not done, start a new serial (Love You Like A Romance Novel, which I posted a snippet of here previously), finish up a fairytale for the LT3 Fairytales serial, and finally wrap up Kiss the Rain which only lacks the ending (it hates me, that end...

The theme is paranormal, stories have to be 2500-3000k in length. They had to be turned in by September 1st, and today they emailed me to say that I am one of the 32 finalists who will move on to judging by readers starting October 1st!!!!!!!!!!

I am beside myself with glee :D I seriously do not care if I lose in the first round, I am beyond ecstatic that I made it this far! ^_____^
