Happy 5th Birthday Aspen Mountain Press
Hey there
I'm guessing if you're reading this post you're stopping by as part of the Aspen Mountain Press celebratory tour. WELCOME!

AMP is celebrating it's 5th birthday – with some awesome prizes. One of those prizes… *ahem*… a Kindle. Another? An e-copy of my AMP book, Visiting Paradise.
Winning is real easy. Just read the blog, post your comment and move on to the next blog. Oh, and there is one essential other ingredient: HAVE FUN!
Remember, the blog tour officially starts on the 1st of Aug!
Visiting Paradise is a short story, set in the gorgeous Whitsunday Islands in Queensland, Australia. It's no coincidence the book was set there. It was written a couple years after we holidayed on one of the islands, and had an absolutely amazing time! The Whitsundays are made up of 74 tropical islands, and each one is more beautiful than the next. Some are completely uninhabited, some have only one hotel on them, and some are more built up with several hotels and shops, private homes, etc.

The above images are of (from left to right) Daydream Island, Hayman Island and Whitehaven Beach. Look out for some of these in the book!
When we first planned the holiday, we had decided to rent a boat and cruise around the islands for a week. We'd been told that was the best way to see the whole area. There are several places were you can rent 4 or 6 sleepers (or larger boats), which gives you the ability to make your own way around the islands. But then real life happened and got in the way, and well, that never trip never took place. I never got over that disappointment. I decided then and there that if I couldn't do the trip myself, I'd have to have a couple of my characters undertake it. And thus Joe and Beth were born…
Visiting Paradise: The Blurb
Beth Brown needs a holiday. She's burnt out, single and madly in love with the man who pays her salary, Joe Bastion. Much as she'd like to act on her feelings, Beth's learned the hard way not to sleep with the men she works for. As far as she is concerned, Joe is off limits.
Sometimes, to get what you want, you have to chase hard. And Joe wants Beth He's organized the trip of a lifetime for her. Beth's about to set sail into paradise, and she has no idea Joe's the one who'll be taking her there.
Visiting Paradise: An Excerpt
He braced himself to catch her weight and she landed with a gentle thud against his chest.
She gaped at him. "Joe-"
There was no time for explanation. Her breasts cushioned his ribs, her legs were pressed against his and her mouth was open, exposing flashes of pearly-white teeth and the tip of her pink tongue. For the life of him, he couldn't answer. He lowered his head to hers.
"Joe," she gasped again, just before their lips met, and it did him in. She said his name in the same breathless, fuck-me voice she'd used the night before. He molded his lips to hers and slid his tongue into the hot, wet cavern of her mouth, taking full advantage of her open-mouthed astonishment.
The shockwave of awareness that jolted between them almost bloody electrocuted him. The instant his tongue touched hers, she melted. Collapsed against him. Tiny purring sounds escaped her as her body relaxed. Her lips softened and she responded to his kiss with a hungry acceptance of inevitability.
This was where their relationship had been heading from day one.
Her kiss reverberated through him. Heat curled through his stomach and inched lower, its fire consuming his oxygen. He couldn't breathe. It wasn't just his physical response to her. Something else was at play here, something deeper, something more personal. Much more personal.
The loneliness that had been his lifelong companion began to crumble and Joe, unused to experiencing anything beside the dull hollow in his heart, registered surprise as emotion began to churn in his chest.
This was right. This was meant to be.
He pulled back, needing to look at her, to see if she felt the same way.
Her eyes were dazed; her chest rose and fell unevenly. "Joseph…" She breathed his name.
"Jesus, Beth. You have no idea how long I've wanted to do that."
"You shouldn't have." Had she not been so languid in his arms, he might almost have believed she meant it. But her fingers toyed with the nape of his neck and her nipples had pebbled into tight beads beneath her damp top, her response at odds with her words.
"I can stop." His offer was reluctant, especially so as her luscious lips parted and her eyelids drift shut.
"You should." There was ambivalence in her voice. She took a deep breath. "Please…don't."
She reached blindly for his mouth and pulled herself into him. As their lips touched, he groaned. Why had it taken so long to reach this point? All that wasted time. He'd waited his whole life to meet the woman who could end his solitude, and when he finally did—she made him wait some more. Made him suffer under the assumption she didn't care, didn't want him. But she did.
He kissed her harder, crushed his mouth against hers, allowing all his suppressed passion to surface in his kiss. She whimpered in response and before he realized it, he'd untied the straps of her bikini top. It dropped to the ground between them and Joe pulled her closer, relishing her naked flesh against his, the soft, round breasts squashed against his chest.
The kiss was so sweet and so hot, it twisted his gut and played havoc with his balls. He groaned out loud. "You're tormenting me, Bethy."

Island Idyll – A Dirty Little Excerpt
(Yes, for those of you who noticed it, I am lazy. I posted this blog to International Heat and then copied it here.)
It seems as though the release date for Island Idyll will never get here. It's still almost two months before the 4th book in the Bandicoot Cove Anthology becomes available.
So, just in case you grow weary of waiting, here's a little something to tide you over until the big day. It's a dirty little excerpt that definitely should not be read if you are under the age of 18 yrs!
ISLAND IDYLL – The Blurb:
Adolescent fantasies can grow into very adult realities.
Bandicoot Cove, Book 4
Sienna James has come to Bandicoot Cove to mourn the end of her eight-year relationship with Ben Cowley. The last person she expects to meet is the star of every one of her high school fantasies.
Joshua Lye is not only as appealing as he was in high school, he reveals she was the main feature in his adolescent wet dreams. As kids they never got it together. But they're adults now, and there's nothing keeping them apart.
When Ben arrives at the resort determined to win Sienna back, finding another man in her bed kind of throws a spanner in the works. But he isn't deterred. Rather than admit defeat, he comes up with an alternative plan: Let Sienna sleep with both men—at the same time. Then she can make an informed decision as to which man she wants.
Sienna shouldn't want to go through with this shockingly sexy plan, but she does. Desperately. Except after the sexual storm passes, she could have it all…or be left holding an empty heart.
Product Warnings
Contains a suggestion beyond risqué, a solution beyond orgasmic, and two men who know how to play dirty. Really, really dirty.
ISLAND IDYLL – The dirty little excerpt:
Josh tried to appreciate the sun as it dipped over the water. Tried to enjoy the forty different shades of pink and red that painted the twilight sky. He tried furiously to feel some sense of shame or maybe even embarrassment as a couple strolled along the path, hand in hand, and smiled at him from a short distance away.
In truth he felt nothing but the lips around his cock. The warm heat of Sienna's mouth as she sucked him in deeper, caressing him with her tongue. First, she twirled that sinful tongue around the head, and when she'd sufficiently tortured him enough, she twirled it around the length of his shaft.
Sweat beaded on his forehead and upper lip. Barely a half an hour had passed since his first explosive orgasm, and thanks to the ministrations of the woman kneeling between his legs, he was headed for a second one. Fast.
Josh lifted his arm, heavy as lead, and waved at the couple. They waved back, oblivious to the fact that a luscious, naked goddess perched at his feet, treating him to a little slice of heaven.
She drew her lips off of him. "You waving at someone?" Her voice was husky.
Josh had to clear his throat to answer, and even then he spoke no louder than a whisper. "Yeah. A couple walking past."
She gave a lusty groan and licked him from root to tip. "Think they know what you're doing?"
"I'm not doing a damn thing, princess," Josh reminded her. "And neither are you," he pointed out with a disgruntled sigh. She'd ceased all mouth movement and regarded him with those darkened blue eyes he was beginning to adore. Her lips were swollen and parted, and every syllable she uttered sent warm breath fluttering over his dick.
"How does it feel," she asked, mischief dancing over her face, "knowing they're so close and have no idea what's going on?"
"It feels…" He let his words drift away as she wrapped her lips around his tip and suckled gently. "Ah, Christ, it feels unbelievable."
She kissed his balls. "What if they knew what we were doing? Or worse. Came closer to say hello?"
He didn't have an answer. Dread fluttered in his stomach, right about the same time a fresh wave of blood slammed into his already engorged member. Precome leaked from his shaft.
Sienna moaned softly. "Can you still see them?"
Josh nodded, almost incapable of speech. "They're…close." Although they'd already walked past the balcony. Josh kept his voice low, praying fervently they didn't hear him. What if they turned around?
"Keep your eyes on them," Sienna told him. "Don't look away. Not for one second."

Exotic Indulgence is now available for pre-order
(Yes, this is a repost of the blog on International Heat entitled: Those words we all love: FREE READ. But hey, I think it's worth a repost, don't you?)
Is there anyone out there who doesn't love a free read?
I know that every two weeks I'm jumping on Amazon and downloading the two Samhain books that are being offered free of charge for fourteen days. I've met some wonderful new authors and their wonderful books this way. And now, I'm real, real, real proud to announce that we have a brand new, never before been released freebie from Samhain.
The name of the book: Exotic Indulgence
The authors: Lexxie Couper, Vivian Arend and Jess Dee
The Anthology: Bandicoot Cove
Exotic Indulgence is the first book in the four book anthology, Bandicoot Cove. Think of it as an incredibly hot, incredibly sexy, incredibly indulgent introduction to the world's newest, exclusive, luxury island resort.
Exotic Indulgence: The Blurb
It's time for an indulgence, or two…or three.
Bandicoot Cove, Book 1
There's something magical about Bandicoot Cove. It's where Kylie Sullivan's dream of managing a luxury, five-star resort is about to come true. And it's where people tend to fall in love. Kylie should know. She's fallen hard—for three very different men.
There's Brad, who knows just how to relieve her stress and send her body on a crash course through pleasure. Hemi, her untamed Maori, who awakens her primitive side. And Finn, the sexy bartender whose specialty is Screaming Orgasms.
The three men fulfill all her sexual fantasies, but Kylie knows reality will eventually set in and she'll have to choose. But how? For now she decides not to decide—at least until she makes sure the resort's soft opening comes off without a hitch.
As far as Brad, Hemi and Finn are concerned, Kylie's life is too much work and not enough play. The only choice they plan to give her is to say yes to their wildly passionate proposal…
Product Warnings
Three sexy men pleasing one uninhibited woman—how much more warning do you need? This short story is long on heat, with a drool-worthy setting and sexual interludes in the office, at the beach and the bar. You want a day job like this.
Exotic Indulgence releases on the 23rd of August, but the really, really exciting news is that it is already available for pre-order at Samhain Publishing. You can reserve your free copy, in the format of your choice, right now. Just click here.
The three other books in the anthology will be releasing over a four week period, from August to September:
Paradise Found, by Vivian Arend, releases 23 Aug. (Yep, same day as Exotic Indulgence).
