It is for myself and many writers I know. Before sitting down at the computer or laptop, we suddenly find a hundred other chores that need doing before we can write another word, never mind page, or chapter.
So, of course, we always leap at the opportunity to listen to advice on how to stop procrastinating. I certainly did this week, and picked up three terrific tips at the monthly get-together of the Palm Beach Writers Group.

Many writer friends have told me how difficult it is to focus on writing fiction these days since the Trump inauguration when news events happen so quickly. There is a fear among us that if we step away from the TV or from our social feeds that we will miss something apocalyptic.
