“She says nothing at all, but simply stares upward into the dark sky and watches, with sad eyes, the slow dance of the infinite stars.”

introvertedbookworm24:

“A philosopher once asked, “Are we human because we gaze at the stars, or do we gaze at them because we are human?” Pointless, really…“Do the stars gaze back?” Now, that’s a question.”

“Several years later, from a taxi, you will see someone in a doorway who looks like her, but she will be gone by the time you persuade the driver to stop. You will never see her again. Whenever it rains you will think of her.”

In case you need a little vibrational uplift today, here’s my dog, Alfalfa, after his bath the other night.

Btw: The best part is the face plant at the end.

Me, lately.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about my next big move.I’m writing again, and I’m almost ready to talk about it.Alfalfa is turning 9 months old next months, and just graduated from puppy kindergarten.
Finished House of Cards, and now I’m making my way through Game of Thrones.Want to read Neil Gaiman next, I think.Next trip is back up to NYC in a few weeks. My PO box is still open to you guys, I love when you send me things! [Anna Patrick PO Box 27Herndon VA, 20172]Been listening to 90s throwback grunge (Soundgarden, Hole, Smashing Pumpkins…) pretty exclusive. Nirvana, obviously. The last book I read was “After You” by Jojo Moyes.I miss yoga and I don’t meditate enough. But I’ve been writing and journaling and making art and that’s what I need instead right now.Every Tuesday and Thursday I take a spin class at the gym, and my instructor plays my favorite Nirvana songs each class because I always take a bike in the front row.Every monday I do #meganmondays on snapchat (loveannapatrick) and it’s silly and fun.

My inbox is always open, what else can I answer for you?
