How Long – #RomanticTuesday

How Long the night Suspends my Waiting;

How dark the jet of midnight falls,

Shadows Begetting Shadows,

As my Heart Waits to Hear Your Call.

Morning Dries the tears of Crying;

Barren Kiss of Desert Wind may blow,

But Oh How Long the Night Suspends

This Yearning, Unspoken, that Blooming shows.

Darkness Kiss this Fainting Brow;

Moonlight Whisper, Sweet River of Sighs;

While I Wait, Untouched, Untended,

As Time confuses and mercilessly flies.

How Long the Night Lingers in Solitary Hours;

How Sorrowful I Wait with Bated Breath;

How Bleak is this Emptiness, Alone;

How All Consuming

Like death.

Entrance my Love as Breathless Nighttide

In this Sweet Repast of Love,

Filling All the Avenues of my Heart,

As soft Songs from Your Sweet Lips flow,

Ever Coaxing Love to Grow.

Yet as this Hour of Surrender fades,

Bringing the Dawn new Light to Share,

Gentle let Your Love in Singing be

That You Shall ne’er Take it from me.

Mirror of the Lustrous Night

Mirror of the Lustrous Night,

Pale Gemstone of my Longing Desire,

Goddess Singing in the Soaring Sky,

Tune of Ancient Melody and Forgotten Rhyme,

Glimmer as the Deep Indigo of Midnight

Holds its Fearsome Court over the Sleeping Sands of Time,

Shimmer into the Shadows of Ethereal Enchantment

That Quicken the Pulse and Divert the Mind,

And Blaze with Your Sweet, Dulcet Fire

Of Yielding Gentle Light

Into All I Am and Remember.

Purest Union

Standing Beside You

With You

Within You

Breath of Sweet Breeze Caressing

Song of the Sky Serenading

Hush of Your Rhythmic pulse Soothing

Alone

Yet Melding

In Purest Union with You

.

As I stood at the edge of the ocean, searching for Treasure upon the sand, I realized Treasure was already all around me.  Closing my eyes, I listened to the waves surging upon the shore; the cries of terns and gulls from the sky; the sea breeze blowing from far away to connect me with all things and I sighed deeply.  Alone on the shore, One with All.

Lilting

Speak to my Heart with Whispers

And Deep Sighs

Beneath the Lavish Caress of the willow

Bowing Gracefully in Resplendent

Whispers and Deep Sighs

 

Sing to my Soul with Dances of Indigo

And Silver Moonlight

Beside the Suspirations of the Lilting brook

Tumbling Joyfully in Amused

Dances of Indigo and Silver Moonlight

 

Delicious Song of Eventide

Refresh

Renew

Softly Imbue

.

I will be off for a few days to enjoy the breath of eventide and the sweet salt sea air, yet wanted to leave you with this Sigh and Smile until I return next week.  Blessings of Peace and Rest be Upon You my Dear Friends~
