With Your every word, My Love,

Send Shivers into the very Heart of me;

With All You Say,

Honeyed Baritone

Singing as Pure Symphony.

Enchant my Spirit

With Your Rapturous Gaze, Beloved,

Pour Passion as the Lover You Long to Be;

One Ever Reaching Stare,

O Heaven’s Masterpiece,

Shall Beguile me for Eternity!

Captivate my Heart

With Your Exquisite Touch, Sweet Lover,

Alluring as None Else can Be;

Fill my Thoughts, My Breath, My Life,

Soul of my Soul,

While, Together, We Embody True Unity.

Unyielding Song – #Inspirational #Poetry

Love Whispers from Heart to Heart,

From Soul to Soul,

Encouragement and Empowerment

Its Gentle Goal;

Love Cradles with Tenderest Hands,

Love Sings Softly ,

Love Understands,

Love Never Looks away from its Dearest Treasure,

Remembering All,

Forgetting Everything,

Even the steepest Fall;

Love Holds us Carefully,

Compassionate,

True,

Love is Ever Near,

Ever Watchful,

Guarding Me,

Guarding You.

Listen in the Hush of your fretful Heart,

Amidst the chaos this world Imparts,

Hear Love Whispering its Unyielding Song,

Regardless of the deepest, darkest wrong;

Love is Speaking,

Soft and Clear,

If you Long to Remember,

Draw Quietly Near

And Love will Embrace you,

Whispering to your Heart,

Poem: “One by One” (#guestblogger)

Day by day,

a contortion,

bones out of shape,

out of place,

I stare at a reflection

seeming no less sane than yesterday,

but a whole lot saner than today.

What tomorrow has in wait,

but another contortion,

yet another day,

where a reflection stays,

regardless of the mirror that breaks?

An #Easter #Prayer

Sweet Heavenly Father,

Holy Lord,

Almighty and Ever Living God,

Creator of our Every Breath,

and

Author of our Every Thought,

We Give Thanks to You with Joyful and Amazed Hearts

On this Most Special Day,

With Family and Friends by our sides

And

Remembered with Great Love,

We Praise You for the Miracle of the Resurrection,

For the Unfathomable Measure of Love

Shared with All of us

Through the Life of Jesus our Saviour,

Through His Passion and Death,

And

Through His Glorious Victory,

Blessings we can never fully Comprehend or Deserve,

Yet which we Receive Today On this Bright Easter,

With All the Love our Hearts, Minds and Spirits

Can Offer.

I’ve got to do better.

As I sat through last night’s Good Friday service that I was a part of it occurred to me that I’ve got to be better. If my preaching truly did justice to the gospel the church I serve would be overflowing with people. I’ve got to do better, we’ve got to do better.

How did Christ’s sacrifice those many years ago become forgotten? He died as brutal a death a man can die, he didn’t have to, he chose to out of obedience to his father. He conquered death so that we could live. The cold, brutal, painful taste of death was forever taken for those that believe.

Given this it is difficult to understand why people don’t believe, why church and faith are so inconvenient as to be ignored, faith is seen as a crutch and churches close each year.

I’ve got to be better. I’ve got to find another level to my preaching and ability to pastor to reach those that don’t know Christ, don’t know faith and don’t know his church.
