Great Light in the Dark

Reaching for the emptiness within

Whispering Mystery where All Life Begins

Breathe in Spectral Quiet

Gently

Guide my Path in Silent Tones

Like Drops of Water upon Vast Stepping Stones

Lead me, Oh Breath that Eternally Glows

Direct my Wandering to the Place where Life Flows.

Making meaning of life.

 

This world with its highs and lows, joy and grief, times of happiness and suffering can be difficult to understand at the least.  Yet we are challenged to do just that.  To find God’s presence through the chaos of our thoughts, minds and lives.

I struggle when I’m looking for and needing answers.  What I often find is silence.  It is hard to sit with thoughts and emotions that I don’t want to sit with.  The mind and the world offers much in the way of busy activities and distractions to keep us from looking deep within ourselves.

Look for answers as to who I am and what I should do with the rest of my life.  Looking, searching, wanting…

Sorting through my emotions, selfishness and self-destructive thoughts in search of joy, freedom, happiness.  In search of God.  As difficult as it is at times it is what we are called to do.

Sweet Intrepidity reaching into the depths

Of all I hide, yet all I posses,

Laying bare these fears and suspicions

Collateral damage of volatile visage;

Vast, unbending, Audacity

Perfume of Daylight Stirring within me,

Emblazon the night with golden glory

Ever and Always conveying your story;

Unguarded and Unifyingly Bright

Sweet Intrepidity,

Deliciously right

Delight and Invite through your Soliloquous Light

As stars wink in the velvet expanse

Ever glittering in their Timeless dance

As tides of celestial Consciousness divide,

Breaking

And Waking

Through the soft Morningtide.

#FridayFeyDay – All Things Dark Fey #Official #Website

I am so excited!  All the hard work I’ve put into developing my All Things Dark Fey website (from scratch, no less!) have finally come to fruition.

It is now the Official Dark Fey Website!!! Shared via my author page, my publisher has opened the door to worldwide access, which is as daunting as it is amazing. After all, I am not a web designer by trade, or even by luck.  What I am is a dabbler, and while I dabbled in the precarious art of developing a website to showcase my hard work, the showcase became the hard work.

Now, however, I am excited to share the results. So please do stop by the Official Dark Fey Website.  Have a look around and then, please, let me know what you think. Your feedback is Invaluable to me.  What do you like?  What do you NOT like?  Or did you notice anything that wasn’t working?

Old.

Forgotten.

Forsaken.

Dilapidated.

Run Down. Decrepit.

Ancient. Primeval.

Deserted. Abandoned.

All of these terms can be applied to any number of structures, once glorious, once tended with affection, once prominent; now standing in silent decay and ruin.

Yet within the hush that has settled over these edifices of antiquity, whispers linger, shadows flicker, and stories wait on the precipice of perception.

These crumbling bastions betray no secrets; still, they entice the imagination and persuade even the most resolute skeptic. Ever worthy of the onlooker’s gaze, even in their final resting peace, they beg to be reexamined and shared.

Like the halls of the heart or the avenues of the Spirit, will we walk by them unshaken by their beauty, unconcerned if they crumble into nothingness and everything they offer is forever lost; or will we pause to allow their silence to stir within us all we have forgotten?
