A fairy tale is very like a poem ~ or a dream.
Plum blossom maiden dances in the moonlight. From her kimono sleeves, dreams flutter to earth like blossoms borne on the breeze.“Plum Blossom Maiden” is both fairy tale and prose-poem. It was inspired by my fascination with dreams and my appreciation for Japanese art and poetry. It is aesthetically simple, subtle, and symbolic ~ like a haiku or a Japanese watercolor.
