The Big Brand Relaunch
Now that I am writing full-time (I’ve been off work for almost two weeks now), I am throwing myself into writing professionally with gusto! This means V.C. Lancaster needs to be a brand, a presence, a personality. Someone you can find easily and talk to easily, and who, hopefully, publishes a lot!
With this in mind, I have redesigned this blog – Isn’t it nice? – as well as my Twitter, Goodreads, and launched a Facebook page. The jungle theme I am using is meant to be reminiscent of the Gandry...

Time for an Update
Okay, I’m coming clean.
I know I’ve been silent for a long time. The reason for that is, after The New Guy, I was resolved to write another Gandry novel, about a male named Krol and a woman named Naomi. I did that for a while, a couple of months. I got to 30-40k words on it. And I had to quit. I just didn’t know where it was going. It was labourious writing. I found it boring and repeptitive to write. It took me a long time to admit I needed to abandon it (I spent a whole month slogging throu...

Ruth’ Bonded Ebook Update
I’ve been quiet for a while, I know. I’ve started Krol’s Goddess (Gandry 5), but I’m not very far in yet so not much to report.
I have however got round to updating the text of Ruth’s Bonded with the corrected manuscript I edited for the print version. This just means that there will be less (hopefully no) typos, and that the terminology for the world will be in line with the rest of the books. Because that was the first one, I was figuring it out as I went, which meant some of the words came...

TNG Unlimited
Just found out The New Guy wasn’t available on Kindle Unlimited. It was meant to be! I must have missed a box somewhere. Should be fixed now but if it’s still not available let me know.
It sold 84 copies in its first day!

The New Guy is Published!
I just submitted it! It’s currently in review, but should be up soon. The total wordcount is a little over 94,200, so it’s my longest book yet. I’ve priced it at my usual £/$2.99, though apparently £2.99 is actually $3.95! I didn’t think as many people would pay four dollars though so I changed it.
I hope you all like it, let me know what you think!

The New Guy Cover
I’ve only got three chapters left!
I’m hoping to get the book finished this weekend! Then I need to edit and format and upload of course, but we’re back to a July release date. Should be out by the end of the month, but to be honest, next week is busy for me, so I’m going to keep early AUgust as an option. Within two weeks… Hopefully…
Anyway, here’s the cover to get excited about! And I’ve put The E.T. Guy on sale for 99p for the next week in preparation for this release!

The New Guy: Chapter 1
True to my word, here is the first chapter of The New Guy, book 2 in the Office Aliens series.
Releasing this book in July just got even more imperative because I have been hit with the BIGGEST tax bill known to man. I might be being dramatic… But I also might not be. I got a bill demanding a down payment by the end of the month and I thought “Outrageous! I haven’t even submitted a return for that tax year.” So I submitted a return for 2016/17… LIKE A SUCKER. Anyway, now I have this to deal w...

The New Guy Update
Gosh, it’s been so long since I let you guys know what’s happening!
I am deep, deeeeeeep into The New Guy right now. That’s Office Aliens 2, the sequel to The E.T. Guy. It’s 50,000 words long right now, that’s already longer than Ruth’s Bonded and Ruth’s Baby. I’m estimating it’ll hit 80,000 at least, so it might even break UnBonded‘s record and become my longest book! And the book I’m planning on writing after it, Naomi and Krol’s story in the Ruth & Gron series, is going to be long too, tha...

Ruth’s Bonded: Print Copy
[image error]
Ruth’s Bonded is now available as a paperback, with a snazzy new cover! Look!
I edited the text, to hopefully get rid of all the typos (though realistically I don’t think I could ever get every single one) and to make RB cannon-compliant with the rest of the series. When I wrote it, there was a lot I didn’t have figured out, and I didn’t know it was going to be a series. I’m happy...
