Tirra (Complete)

Chapter 1

The trees were quiet on the mountain. Theyd been quiet for as long as Tirra could remember. Mirr had stripped it of all life, adding males to her tribe, killing rival Queens, and leaving nothing for the animals to eat.

Tirra sighed as she stepped over some rocks. How far and how long would she have to travel before she found life again? Shed left the tribe last season after a fight with her mother came too close to being deadly. Mirr didnt care for her children, Tirra knew that, but...

Its crazy to think how little time its taken for the world to completely change. Its been three weeks since the UK was placed on lockdown. As soon as that was announced, my flatmate bailed to live with her boyfriend and his family, so I have been living alone. Im handling it a lot better...

February’s Newsletter

Hello again!

I have just returned from Lancaster, where I was for five nights. My best friend lives there, so I visit all the time. Nowanother friend has moved there after getting a job at the University of Cumbria. In January’s newsletter, I mentioned she had invited me to speak at their careers day. The event was pretty short and sweet. She told me in advance that she didn’t need me to do a presentation, she preferred to do an interview, and she borrowed the questions from myinterview with...

Office Aliens Christmas Shorts!

Starting on October 30th, I am releasing a run of four Christmas shorts for the DETI staff!

I wasn’t even aware of it happening. After Killer, I to...

For Who Could Ever Learn To Love A Beast Symposium Presentation

I meant to do this after the event on June 6th, but it’s taken this long to get the audio to create a full presentation with my slides, so here’s the abridged version.

On the 6th of June, I attended a local symposium on sex-writing called “I’ll Show You Mine”. I presented on Inhuman Romances, and you can listen to my presentation and follow along with the slides here

I had a great day! It went really well. The first panel of the day was submitted papers, so I was in with three other people. T...
