A Little Bit of Fun

Hey all,
I love October.  Not only is it the month where the weather cools down, but I love the theming of Autumn and Halloween.  For years I didn't celebrate the holiday and I don't really now, but I do enjoy all the posts and pics and memes I find online.
And of course I adore ghost and shifter and vampire stories.  I read them, write them and am always looking for new authors to enjoy.
Today I thought I'd share a few of those fun pics memes and authors so you may enjoy them, to...

A Granny Is Just An Antique Little Girl

Hey all,
September has been an awesome month for me.  I birthed a new book series, had it picked up by a great new publisher and just the other day I got the bestest news ever!!!!
I'm gonna be a Granny!!!!!!
Yep!  I am expecting my very first grandbaby.  And I'm sooooo excited. My brother's kids and Jonathon's brother's kids have been having babies left and right, but this new life is the first that will bloom on our side of the family tree.
My oldest son Jeramiah and his beautiful...

Announcing Another Re-Release...Cowboy Up!

Hey all,
No guest blogger today, but I do have something special for you all.  This last Friday, I finally re-released my novella length summer romance, Cowboy Up.
This story is really special to me and I wanted to share it with all my readers.
I was one of those horse crazy girls that lived, ate and breathed everything horse. I had my horse, Danny and spent some of my happiest days of my life wandering around the countryside on his back. And when I was old enough I started showing him, and...

Here...There Be Dragons!!!!

Hey all,
Remember on Tuesday I said I'd have some news for y'all?  Well...I do!!! And it's REALLY wonderful news.
A part of myself had been worried about getting back into my writing...wondering if I was doing the right thing. If my time as a professional author had already passed.  I knew I'd never stop writing, but the whole publishing part of writing was so damn difficult sometimes. *sigh*
But, I decided to give it a year.  To get those older books republished and toss a few mo...

The Starting Point of Each Success is Desire

Hey all,
I did it! WooHoo!
Remember how I mentioned a few months back that I was trying to get rid of those extra pounds I'd put on while traveling overseas? Trying all that delicious new food had the scale slowly inching upwards.  (Curse that the Hungarian Fry Bread? BUT YUM!!!)
Well, just last Friday, I finally hit my goal.  I have now lost thirty pounds!  I look good and more importantly, I feel great!

Success is nothing more than a few simple disciplines, practiced every...

A Bit of Shameless Self Promotion and a Word About Domestic Abuse

Hey all,
A little bit of shameless self promotion!  I'm pleased to say that the last of the Second Chances series is now back up online.  And this time the publisher won't close it's doors!  LOL
The full series is one of my favorites, and Life's a Dance hits very close to home.  Parts of it were taken from my own history, and I wanted my readers to understand that there IS life after a broken relationship.
Some of you have asked where I got the inspiration for t...

...You Might Be In Texas

Hey all,
We've been in the mighty state of Texas now for just over a week.  Since I've been getting my book ready to be published, (Life's a Dance---Links are HERE) I haven't had much time to wander around Austin yet, but I was able to visit the Zilker Botanical Gardens.
It's a lovely little spot, chock full of themed gardens and even thought it was the last of summer, there were still quite a few beautiful flowers and plants around.
It was raining most of the time I was there,...
