I was going sifting through numerous online photos people submitted from the Prose in the Park event last weekend (June 4th - and what an event it was! True Patriot: Heroes of the Great White North (True Patriot, #2)
True Patriot: Heroes of the Great White North, is - maybe not a sequel - but a continuation of True Patriot. Considering that is has only been a few years since graphic novels have been accepted as pieces of literature, it can be difficult both accepting them and properly understanding them. (Since The Watchmen was listed within the top 100 literary titles of all time in 2010). I believe this book can be quite a challenge to critique. A graphic novel cannot be read in the same way as a novel

Prose in the Park - 2016
Prose in the Park was an awesome experience that I would most definitely do again! I think I sold a record amount of book compared to previous events and book signings, but better then all that were the people I met and the great conversations I got the opportunity to be a part of! From my neighbouring fellow authors to wandering patrons - I got the opportunity to meet face-to-face several of my Goodreads fans and friends, a few fellow poets and even some hardcore Lovecraft-fan musicians!Up

Invitation to Write Essay
Exciting news! Four years ago, way back in May of 2011, I read and wrote a book review of (the theologian, philosopher and scholar) Thomas Jay Oord's book, The Nature of Love: A Theology. (Fantastic book, btw. Well worth the read). In early 2015, Thomas Jay Oord approached me to read (the as of then unpublished and unreleased copy) of his new book, The Uncontrolling Love of God, to write a book review to coincide with its release. (Yet another great 5-star book). Very recently (a week ago?)
