2019

2019 has been an incredible and exciting year so far for Michel Weatherall.Released a novel (Ngaro's Sojourney) and book of poetry (Sun & Moon) and The Nadia Edition, the 30th Anniversary of The Symbiot.He had been nominated for Favourite Author in the 2019 Faces of Ottawa Awards, nominated for Performing/Creative Arts in the FEBE Awards, nominated for Entertainment Excellence (Arts) in the CPACT Awards, we ourselves (Broken Keys Publishing), had been nominated for Small Business Excellence in the CPACT Awards, had his name put forward for the 2020-21 Parliamentary Poet Laureate for Canada, and have a poem from Sun & Moon nominated for the 2019 Pushcart Prize.Next month nominations go into the 2020 Faces of Ottawa Awards. Here's hoping this is the year!

Russell Flea Market Rescheduled

Unfortunately, due to the Teachers' Union (CUPE) strike, this Saturday's Russell Flea market has been cancelled. Unfortunately, due to the CUPE (Canadian Union of Public Employees) announcement of its strike action to Work to Rule this morning, this Saturday's Russell Flea market has been cancelled.Updates and potential rescheduling will be announced once known.

2019 Pushcart Prize Nomination
