We took the kids to the beach last weekend. Well, it's the closest thing to a beach that you can find in Iowa anyway. The kids went swimming and attempted to make sand castles. They certainly enjoyed themselves.

It's been a somewhat unpleasant week overall, but I'm celebrating the fact that it's getting better. I know this is somewhat gross, but I've always had a problem with ear wax building up in my ears. I inherited the problem from my dad. It got so bad that I completely lost my ability to hear out

Celebrate the Small Things-July 31, 2015

This has been a pretty good week. The boys had a pizza party at the library to celebrate the end of the summer reading program. They ate pizza (obviously) and cookies, watched a movie, and came home with candy bars. As you can probably imagine, they were quite happy.
