New in Audio: Wretchedness

My novel WRETCHEDNESS is available in audio format! Wretchedness was my first full-length horror novel; it’s a story that’s near and dear to my heart, and the audio version ramps the terror up to 11. Narrator Jake Urry’s performance is not to be missed!

Once it takes hold, it never lets go…

Like an illness, fear spreads. Healthy minds are withered by paranoia. Can anything stop the contagion?

A peculiar tablet unearthed in a Middle Eastern ossuary provokes madness in those who encounter it. One by one, people come under the tablet’s sway and are subjected to horrific visions and dreams. In time, the tablet’s true purpose becomes clear: It is the harbinger of an eons-dead god whose reemergence will steep the world in terror and suffering. Having put the pieces together, two men race against the clock and attempt to disrupt the terrifying work of an ancient cult.

Winthrop House– Now Available!

Are you ready to venture back into Winthrop House?

The Jackal Man has been waiting for you…

Winthrop House, the sequel to A House by the Sea, is now available on Amazon!

“They say the Jackal Man lives in that house…”

Months after a family is forced to flee the beachfront property on 100 Winthrop Road, three young travelers lost outside of Cutler, Maine find themselves taking shelter in it. Strapped for cash, the three of them spend a night in the house, wondering why the lovely old building has been left abandoned.

They don’t have to wonder for long.

Strange things take place in the empty house. Noises come from behind the walls, and its occupants feel as though they’re being constantly watched. The townsfolk are quick to warn them away from the property, sharing with them bits and pieces of its terrible history.

But by then, it may already be too late. Winthrop House has a mind of its own, and the entities that dwell there won’t rest until they have what they want.

Welcome to the new site!

I took the day off of writing today and threw myself headlong into the wild world of web design. I can’t claim to be very good at hammering out fancy websites, but I have to say that this new site is a vast improvement on the eyesore I’ve been using for more than a year.

So, welcome!

On this site you’ll find listings for all of my books and audiobooks, including some that haven’t been released yet! I’ll also be updating this blog as time allows, talking about new projects, exciting news and probably doing a good bit of bantering. I intend for this site, rough though it is at this moment, to become my centralized “command center” on the web. The digital center of everything “Ambrose Ibsen” on the internet, if you will. There are links to my Facebook, Twitter and Goodreads profiles to be found on the home page, as well as a space where one can sign up for my newsletter (you HAVE signed up for that, haven’t you? If not, you really ought to!).

Thank you for stopping in, and I hope you’ll drop by frequently. I’ll do my best to make it worth your while!
