It's the year 2135 in what remains of Brooklyn. Life is tough after the apocalypse, especially for futanari dinosaur riders. Xenia only wants a bed, a bath, and to get laid. What she finds instead is trouble in the form of another futanari named Mags, AKA "The Magpie." Xen saves her and that means Mags owes her. Bigtime.

Not-So-Basic Writer Shit

The Not-So-Basics

People asked me if I was ever going to expand on my basic writer shit you gotta know post. You're reading the "yes" answer right now. In this post, I'll leave poetry alone and focus only on fiction.

Adverbs are your enemy. Ruthlessly cull them from your writing except where necessary (see what I did, there?).Very, really, actually, seems, began to, and other qualifiers need to be eliminated. These are words we use when we're trying to figure out what to say during a first draf...

People Don't Buy Books Because They're Written Well

Have you ever wondered...

Why do some books sell, even though they're atrociously edited and spilling over with purple prose and adverbs? Have you ever wondered why excellent stories languish on the shelves (physical and virtual) unsold? And yet some books dosell well that are excellent stories with impeccable editing. There doesn't seem to be any relation at all between whether a book is "good" and whether or not it sells.

I've been thinking about this for a long time and have had many a conve...

646 Words About #blacklivesmatter

Dear fellow white people,

Matters of race are not political. This goes beyond that. No political party or philosophy has the means to deal with this. The only way forward is for each of us to search their own soul.

You're white.

Your life already matters. Nobody is trying to tell you it doesn't when they say black lives matter, but you act as though they are. Think about how absurd that is.

You're not going to get gunned down in cold blood in front of your children during a routine traffic stop.Y...

Coming Soon: First Howl, Dire Wolves Shifter MC No. 1

I like a challenge. I also like to sell books. I do this for a living because I love to write. I haveto write. It's in my blood and my soul. As the Joker said in The Dark Knight:"If you're good at something, never do it for free."

So my challenge is to create stories which I love to write and which will also sell. This is very good for you, my dear perverted reader because it means you're going to like my stories more. My favorite fetish/niche will always be futanari, but that's just not ever...

5 Great Articles on Something Most Writers Hate: Blurbs

You don't like writing blurbs? Seems most writers don't. It's essentially a sales pitch, and most of you have had zero training in how to sell anything to anyone for any reason.

On the other hand, it's a writing task, and you're a writer, so if you did have that training, theoretically, you could do it!

Theoretically...

I've found a few great articles about writing blurbs and I thought I'd share them with you. They're not listed in any particular order.

How to Write Back Blurb for Your Book
How to...

DIY Erotica E-Book Cover Basics

I get a lot of compliments on my book covers. I will humbly say they're not too shabby. I have something many writers don't: a background and experience in design and in using photo and image-editing software. However, I also have a background in teaching and in writing instructional material, so hopefully I can help you make better covers for your books. Please note this is for ebooks which do not require a spine or a back cover.

One thing you need to understand is what's acceptable by A...
