Some Pre-Launch News...

Ok. Little announcement for you.

I'm launching Thieves' Castle via an @Indiegogo campaign in several weeks!

Did a lot of thinking, took a few deep breaths (& a shot of tequila). I'm heading down the self-publishing route once more...

Here is the "pre-launch" page with a little more info about the book and how you can support the crowd-funding campaign.

Wish me luck!

Just a quick update:

You can now hear The Jesuit Letter, brilliantly narrated by James Young, in all its swashbuckling, Elizabethan, back-alley, ale-soaked glory, on #Audible, #Amazon & #Apple iTunes!

Yes, now it's on iTunes as well!

Damn. I'm kind of letting that sink in for a moment. I now have an audiobook on iTunes. Who would have thought?

Go have a listen!

London - Part 1

This was my first visit to London and due to it's relative brevity, it certainly did not do the city it's true justice.

Every turn of the London street corner opened up new sights, new historic locations, places both new and yet of so familiar...All the place names and street corners, culled out of study, history and literature, stacked up in my mind's eye, one after the other until the unexpected and unique became just another passing point of interest.

Nelson, Wellington, Shakespeare, Dickens...

Ireland, Part 2 - Dublin

After five days in Galway, we snuck out to have a quick two days in Dublin before jetting off to London.

Dublin was an amazing town - vigorous, lively, music-filled. Aside from hitting all the pubs in Temple Bar, I managed to sneak in a visit to the Book of Kells at Trinity, toured Dublin Cathedral (met Joyce's infamous cat and rat) and the National Museum of History & Archaeology to visit the bogmen and the gold hoards. Enjoyed a pint at the end of the day in the the Brazen Head, Dublin's...

Ireland, Part I - Galway & Western Ireland

Just returned from a visit to the Ireland and the United Kingdom. Thought I would post up some of my pictures to share a little a taste of that trip.

Shop Street, GalwayWe traveled to western Ireland, specifically to Galway for a week, to attend my sister-in-laws marriage (yes - an Irish wedding...and yes, it did require a recovery day).

Here are some photographic highlights...

Canada Sale At Last!!

Hey #Canada! THE JESUIT LETTER is an #AmazonKindle Feature Deal in May!

Enjoy Elizabethan skulduggery for only $1.95!

It's been a weird quirk of Amazon's discounting system that I haven't been able to offer a discounted version to the Canadian market until now, and now, only because Amazon has kindly selected it as a Feature!
