Writing Gear

It’s sunny outside, but chilly inside the house. My hands and my knuckles are stiff from being cold, so I had to track down my special cold weather writing gear.

Like them? They are very comfy!

It’s been a busy Tuesday. I’ve gotten a lot accomplished, but have a lot more to do. I did take a break to watch the Inauguration. I love pomp and circumstance. I loved seeing that huge, old Bible that Abraham Lincoln took his oath on. Oh, and those cannons. BOOM. Love those. That must be the “army brat” c

My face is smushed. Sophie (the Bedroom Guardian Cat) I just took a 45 minute nap.

This morning I got up early, and got myself out the door for the WHRWA meeting, where I was so fortunate to be invited to sit on a panel with authors Kristi Gold, Colleen Thompson, Gerry Bartlett, Kerrelyn Sparks and Sharie Kohler. There was a big crowd, and we talked about all kinds of publisher and writing related topics. Everyone had great questions.

Yes, yes, I did turn in my proposal on Monday. I am really excited about this third book. Now we’ll just wait to see what my editor thinks about my ideas.

Also, if your thinking about Valentines Day already, I and some other romance authors were featured in the local Lifestyles & Homes magazine, giving our advice for a successful romance.
