A.J.Griffiths-Jones is a historian & genealogist with a special interest in Victorian Crime. After a decade of living & working in China, she now lives in Shropshire, England. A.J's interests include cooking, travelling & swimming.
Her debut book 'Prisoner 4374' was the result of ten years research in to the life of Dr.Thomas Neill Cream, the notorious Lambeth Poisoner & Jack the Ripper suspect.
A.J. is currently working on a sequel Ripper book and a series of novels, the first of which 'The Villagers' was published early 2016.

I loved every chapter of this unique & wonderful book. The narrator is superb & portrays the story superbly. I’ll be recommending this to all my friends & giving it as gifts at Christmas.

An absolutely fascinating read that gives an in-depth look at the plight of women in Afghanistan. However, set twenty years ago, I do hope there is another follow up book to tell whether times have changed.

This was such a slow starter that I almost gave up at one-third of the way through, but kudos to the author as she picked up pace and delivered well. A small community murder case, this is a read full of secrets, affairs & strange consequences.
