Sure, I'm also on this tour to play drums. A bit of blackmail got me the gig and out from under my parents' control. All I've ever wanted to is to live the rock star life, so I'm willing to do whatever it takes. Doesn't matter who gets hurt, as long as I get mine.

This girl, she's gotten under my skin. Makes me want to be a better man. Has me dreaming of more than a life on the road. For a future of my own, as long as it includes her.
Only, I'm not sure how to make that happen. I can't tell her the truth, not when it won't set us free.

“No way!” I stare at the screen on Callie’s cell, my finger poised and ready to click on the Add to Cart button.
“Yes way.” She grins as though she just discovered the next best thing to sliced bread. Which basically she did. It’s a purse. For wine. A full bottle’s worth. “One of my co-workers got this for his wife, and he swears by it. Says they don’t leave for T-ball games without it.”
“But how does it all fit?” More importantly, is it sanitary? Because if so, it’s genius. “Is there magic involved?”
“I like to think so.” Cam winks and bumps my shoulder. “Right, Jill?”
“Stop,” I warn him as I hand Callie back her cell.
“That’s not what you said last night,” he mumbles before lifting his beer to his lips.
“We’re talking about something better than your d*ck. Bigger, too.” I widen my eyes and it earns laughter from Callie and Ash. “An entire bottle of wine. In a purse! I need this in my life.”

A memory on Facebook popped up this morning, and I actually began writing Caught in the Lies three years ago to the date. How crazy is that? Readers have been asking for Jill and Cam's book since I finished Caught in the Flames, and part of me needed the time to process their journey to a happily ever after (and part of me was busy writing other stories!). I wanted to do justice to this book and I'm so proud of the finished product. I think you're going to love Jill. She's strong. She loves hard. Cam is her perfect match. He has a dirty mouth and a big... hose. But it's his commitment to Jill that steals the show.
