It Became a Trilogy

I have said all along that I thought I'd be a "one book wonder,' just taking a story idea I had and writing and publishing it. Little did I know that that story, The Bond Woman: An Amish Woman's Love for a Man on the Outside, would grow into a trilogy!

It happened because of the enthusiastic readers who found my first book, and I have them to thank for motivating me to keep writing.

The Bond Woman Trilogy now includes The Bond Woman, The Covering and The Sparrow's Song.

I dislike having my books described as "Amish books" because they are not typical of the genre, compared to Amish books I've read, which have simple plots, flat characters and much less Amish research than I display in mine, and I am NOT Amish, Mennonite or any branch of the Plain People.

The stories in The Bond Woman Trilogy do center around an Amish woman but she is a complex character, as are the other characters in this 3-book series. The plots are described as "unpredictable" and "page-turners."

I know that the Amish genre is popular. Can anyone recommend to me Amish books that you really, really, liked?
