“I've just fallen in love with you. What is your name, and please tell me you're gay?”

“Dear Lord,” began Randy, who paused for long enough that Tristan sneaked an eye open to look at him. His saw his mother’s cheek twitch with what he thought might be apprehension. “We are so grateful to be gathered here today with our family, and the family of our brother’s homosexual boyfriend, and our new little goth friend who has a gay dad, whatever the heck that is all about. We’d like to say we’re grateful this year for condoms, lube, and Ellen Degeneres, and for those guys on Queer Eye…”
Randall Evan Phillips!” his mother shouted.”

“I want you back here now. I want you next to me now. I cannot believe that my family, your brother, all our friends, and an entire police force can't keep tabs on one twenty-six year old graphic designer who thinks he's fuckin' Batman.

“I love you" I sighed, unable to keep the smile from my face, leaning back and looking at him through heavy-lidded eyes. "I really do".
"I know", he grunted, very pleased with himself. “You can’t live without me. I’m like cheese.”

“I think you're wrong. I think, in real life, magic happens every day," he said...”

32! 32! 32 have added Broken Bones! I think I will pass out right now. Smile on my face, glazed eyes, and joy!
Check out my blog, the latest pic. WARNING: Twisted and dark with some derogatory language. http://dejablack77.blogspot.com/
Reason to celebrate: I have a book coming out in September 2015. The title is Broken Bones. So excited!
Hi,Does anyone know what AMA means? Amy Lane uses it in Blackbird Knitting in a Bunny's Lair. I looked it up, and Urban Dictionary defines it as Ask Me Anything. Doesn't see like it fits.
Not sure what to read at this point. I got burned by a book and am now unsure about what to choose next. Decisions. Decisions.

Argghh. So, Jet Mykles, Amy Lane, and Derekica Snake have books out. Even I can't read that fast to partake of each delightful morsel plus read the series I have purchased three books of and do my review. Arggh. I need two more eyeballs and another brain. Oh, and a clone.
Currently reading Notturno by Za Maxfield. A reviewer said it was not passionate. What book was she reading? Dinner? Wine? Sizzle!
When reviewing, treat with love. No writer likes their heart ripped out. That's what their writing is, a part of their heart they have chosen to share with you. Being critical doesn't mean be vicious. <3

One of Derekica Snake's books comes to mind.

I will have to remember which books I have searched for; let me look back through my pages. I sometimes find myself saying,"Did they not like it because it had a gay theme or a subject that was found 'not the status quo', or is it truly being judged on its own merit?"
Let me look and I will get back to you. Won't be tonight because my six month old is finally asleep, and I am soooo going to crash right now while I have the chance!
For me, it is more that any book that does not fit what is acceptable rarely receives good reviews. I stick to a select few when deciding on books now.
Rereading Andrew Grey's Spot Me. Love his characters, their shyness, the need for love and the trepidation. Love that there is a strong man just around the corner to fill those needs.
