Hello!
I have just now decided to take advantage of the venue that Goodreads offers for authors, and I simply want to express my gratitude for the readers who took a chance and read my book. It's a first novel, which I understand is supposed to be an author's worst. SO, thanks for shelling out the dough to read something nobody recommended and nobody said was good. I appreciate it. I hope you liked it.
So far, I have sold almost 1,000 copies with no advertising. Now, you don't need to be a math wiz to know that this is not my full-time profession. But this is something that I love. And I enjoy delving into this world.
I hope you do too.
I also have written short stories, and I am happy to say I won third place in the Creative Loafing Short Fiction Contest. The story is here:
http://clatl.com/atlanta/anticapointm...It's called "Anticapointment"– a term I coined (and I will defend that ownership).
It's a bit different than "The Boy Who Went Boom," but you might like it. And it's free.
Anyway, I appreciate your readership. The next one is on the way!
Thanks,
Mike
