WeWriWa 10/28/18 & 11/04/18

I’m so sorry I’m not going to get a new snippet posted tonight (11/04).  I have a few paragraphs, literally, to finish this draft.  Wooooooo, me!  I got through ‘that scene’, and it was exhausting, but I did it.  I’m off to get this wrapped up so I can sent it off to editors and get some words down on Tau Scorpii.

WeWriWa time again!  Check out the blog, check out Snippet Sunday, and leave a few words of encouragement for the authors.  Some days, we really need it.  (PS – I’ve been missing...

WeWriWa time again!  Check out the blog, check out Snippet Sunday, and leave a few words of encouragement for the authors.  Some days, we really need it.  (PS – I’ve been missing leaving comments, I’m a bad person.  A busy person.  I swear to do better this week.)

I honestly almost missed this one.  I’m writing ‘that scene’.  GRRM makes it look easy.  Not so much for me.  I’ve know these people, errr, characters for a lot of years.  A lot.  Like, 20.  So wrapping up this story arc is bittersw...

Check out WeWriWa & Snippet Sunday.  You’ll find amazing authors sharing their writing lives with you.  Plus, books!  Books are always good.

Yep, another week has gone by.  The good news is – I got it.  I wrapped up all the hints and loose ends into the story arc.  I’m fairly pleased about it.  That’s a lie.  I’m thrilled, because this has been an ongoing project for 20 years.  The Wildblood may have another series, standalone books, I never know.  I don’t believe their stories are over.  Fo...

Finally, an Ending

It’s been a rough year, without going into any details you don’t care to hear.  My writing has suffered for it.  Renegades is 2 years old, and Bloodlines should have been out a year now.  The good news – I got it.

When I started writing this series 20 years ago, I had the basic idea for all 3 books.  20 years is a long time, obviously.  The basic idea remained.

Yesterday, I heard the same 35 year old song, twice, in different places, on different stations.  It was an epiphany, it was the push...
