I Told You So
Eventually, it’s all about the chemistry between two people. This is a good thing! And now, after 160,000 words ofthe series–520 pages – and dozens more of notes, maps and ideas, there it is. I told you so. I told you there’d beromance. There was, before, but notthe main focus.
I have no clue how much detail there will be. At this point, it’s up to them, the characters involved, because they’ve only been dragging me along for the journey. What I wanted them to do and what they actually do are...

Subtle, Aren’t I?
I’ve asked myself a few times, “Is it a romance?” ‘It’ being The Vista, the first book in my sci-fi, post-apocalyptic action-adventure. The answer is – it doesn’t matter. Yes, there is some romance happening, along with many other things, as you can probably tell. Labeling an entire 80,000+ word novel as a ‘romance’ or a ‘mystery’ or any other single word isn’t being fair to the book, the author, or the potential reader. Just read it and call it what you want.

“One question, of all of them, I want you to be honest about. Between you and me – did someone kill Rafe?” Harlan asked, point blank.
“Like I said, I can’t divulge details,” Mac told him.
“I know.”
“He didn’t g...

2016 Plans
I see so many of my author friends posting lists of books they’ll publish this year. Don’t get me wrong, this is awesome. My problem is – I have one book on my plate. Sure, there are ideas everywhere and some of them will get to a book, eventually. I’m not certain why I write slow, or if it’s just because of the mess Real Life dumped on me last year, but thinking I could get two books out this year doesn’t seem plausible. I hope I can, but I won’t cry in my coffee if I don’t.
The first draft...

Happy New Year
Congratulations on surviving another trip around the sun!
These are my New Year’s Resolutions. Usually I’ve discarded most of them within a week, so I’ve decided to try something a little different.
Write more.
Listen to music.
Go for walks after dark.
Sing to the grandbaby.
Cook real dinners.
Smile.
Seems easy enough, right?
2015 was a rough year, and when things go bad, people tend to forget the little joys in life. I’m trying to remind myself of those.
No promos today other than a link to...
