The banner takes you right to the blog!

This month, a new book, one that will actually have the ‘R’ in SFR. I don’t know if it will be ‘R’ rated yet or not. All this is in first draft, subject to typos, and revisions.

Tau Scorpii: Book 1

When Taryn rescues another human from a marauding band of Caeruleum, she knows they won’t be happy that their hunting party was interrupted. She also knows, the male human is as likely to be as angry and unforgiving as his former captors. On Sedna, the dese...

#8Sunday WeWriWa 04/30/17

I need to post some new words for you. This bit came out of nowhere, it’s a few pages, The Wildblood series, and I have no idea what to do with it. You get a teaser. First, go check out the WeWriWa blog. Authors and snippets everywhere!

OK. This is a private conversation between Shan & Mac. Their relationship is complex, to say the least. It takes place after the events in The Vista, and before Renegades.

Now for my words. Wade & Shannon, discussing the state of the world. They’ve spent all their lives trying to figure out what might be, and now that they have a hint, they aren’t so certain they were right. From Book 3 of The Wildblood, WIP.

“The war started first, but the flu did more damage. It’s not like Hiroshima in most places, it’s like The Black Death. All of the...

OK, my words. Book 3 of The Wildblood, in progress. Shannon and another officer, discussing Mac, their unusual abilities, and the current emergency, which is far larger than any of them are aware of.

A Day Off

So rather than go to work, or write, or listen to the wind (springtime in the desert), I’m going off on a day trip with the S.O. We’re headed for White Sands, and will have a tour of the Trinity Site. Seeing a bit of history. And I’ll see you next weekend.

Notes on Book 3

Book 3. What happened, 20 years ago!

“Vance came out of Texas, looking for allies, looking for Altered allies. He found Rafe. They were making plans to divide and conquer, probably before we were born. The problem was, most of those who gathered were Altered. The Altered were trained to be adversaries, to gravitate away from each other.
