Marion Davies is being featured everywhere
Hello Readers, have you noticed that Marion Davies is popping up here and there and everywhere?
After being pretty much forgotten and dismissed by Hollywood and history, she is being rediscovered.
She was featured in the 2020 movie MANK, and two books about her came out in 2022, including THE BLUE BUTTERFLY and now she will make an appearance in Damien Chazelle's new movie BABYLON coming out December 23, 2022.
On top of that I have early word that she is the STAR OF THE MONTH for Turner Classic Movies (TCM) for January, 2023. She's never been honored in this way before. All or most of her movies will be screened that month.
My book THE BLUE BUTTERFLY, A NOVEL OF MARION DAVIES will give you a behind-the-scenes look into her private life and all that she accomplished and endured.

The Blue Butterfly, A Novel of Marion Davies
Hi Everyone! I'm happy to share that my novel will be published May 2022 and the cover has now been uploaded. Let me know if you like it. Here's a brief description of the book:
The true-life story of Marion Davies’ thirty-four-year relationship with William Randolph Hearst including a whirlwind courtship, a movie career spanning two decades and forty-four films, a secret child, and harrowing family excesses, not to mention a secret love affair with Charlie Chaplin. The Blue Butterfly is a behind-the-scenes look into the opulent private life of Marion Davies and how the movie Citizen Kane stole her legacy and turned everyone against her.
