RAV STORMERS, THANK YOU.

I have received some wonderful feedback and responses from those who have read Someone for Me and are looking forward to Someone for Me 2. I am please to have a fan base but more than that to connect with you, making it more personal, in turn making you a Rav Stormer. I am working diligently to get the part 2 out and more than that, I have begun writing part 3 which I believe (not sure) will be the last segment to Someone for Me. Love you all. Remember to feel the heat. If it’s not naughty, it’s  not nice.

THANKFUL…

This year that is about to go out, presented me with blessings and struggles, however I am thankful and give thanksgiving to my lord and savior for allowing me to still be here. I found myself living what could only be described as a dream. I became a published author of my baby Someone for Me, which I tried for over 2 years to get published. I thank Jade Jones for starting the imprint Platinum Pearl who in turn published me. Even if it is no longer in existence, I am thankful for the opportunity. With that I gained friend and associates in authors I knew through their books and some just new. I gained a fan base which I  now call my Fav Stormers. I learned a lot about this business and continue to learn today. I met my mentor and idol Shirley Hailstock and Donna Hill. I also met a person that I now call friend Renee Daniel Flagler. I am working on book 3 so this is not a fluke.

WORKING HARD AT IT!

Yesterday everything seemed so easy and structured. Today it’s total chaos. I seem to be playing catch up with my book Someone for Me 2’s editing process, which makes me stop writing Someone for Me 3 and in turn stops me from promoting Someone for Me. My royalty checks have dried up and my need to brand is evident. However, in order for me to rejuvenate my brand, royalty and fam base, (yes fam base cause you mean that much to me) I need to get my book Someone for Me out. So keep me lifted in your prayers and look out for my announcement concerning Someone for Me 2 Tina’s Turn.

YOU NEVER KNOW…

This morning I took Morgan (my granddaughter) to the dentist. While she was in the chair, I took the opportunity to work on Someone for Me 3. The tech asked me, “what are you working on?” I announced to her that I’m writer and working on my third book. She was interested in my book. So I showed her and 2 dental assistants the book trailer to Someone for Me and my promo for Someone for Me and Someone for Me 2. The all pulled out their phones and ordered my book.  Goes to show you never know when the opportunity to plug your book will come up.

ASSOCIATIONS

Sometimes we forget we are not an island and more than anything, Iron sharpens and iron and one hand washes the other. Yesterday at the meeting of  the First State Scribes, only myself, the noted Maurice M Gray Jr. Author of All things work together and To Whom Much is Given and Regina Bumbrey, Au thor of The Price of being a Princess, attended the meeting.

I believe the ones who shows is the ones needed to be present. We were able to share some important information. Giving each other a helping hand. Isn’t this what we are suppose to do? I revealed that some of the Authors presently on my Facebook page have helped me in a multitude of ways. Whether helping to change my book cover, do a promo, learning how to do a book trailer, adding me as a guest or pointing me in the right direction. This is what we do. Why? because it’s enough out there for everyone. To say I got mind you get yours is totally unexceptable and unsupportable. What does that mean. It mean I can run behind you, pumping you up and giving you glory when you see me struggling with mine and you can’t say hey, I use this graphic artist, or try this guy for this. Instead you hold your golden gooses tight to the breast and say find your own. Wow. Don’t look for me sug, cause I’m too busy getting mine.

FEELING LIKE I CAN DO THIS

Hello Rav Stormer, I have been fighting to get things together lately. My major projects, Someone for Me 2 Tina’s Turn, Branding myself and promoting Someone for Me, has be climbing a uphill battle. But with every struggle I become stronger. So keep me uplifted and start supporting me in what I do. I am here and aint going no where.

I am so busy! I have one chapter left for editing to release my second novel Someone for Me 2 Tina’s Turn. I am working on my third novel Someone for me 3 Stone’s Story. I just received notice my logo is ready. I’m trying to find a new way to brand myself. I have did very little promotions on social media the last few days. I have a internet book release party tomorrow that I am part of. I need to contact some bloggers to promo me and the books. And the day is gone and really nothing has been accomplished. Thank God there is a tomorrow, maybe I can get it some of the much needed stuff done then. I need more time, more money, more energy and more contacts. Writing the perfect synopsis

I wrote the synopsis for Someone for Me some time ago, it consisted of a full-page. I recently decided to try my hand at some of the bigger more prominent publishing houses and they all require a four to five-page synopsis that tells the story from beginning to end along with a character breakdown. Okay, I understand they need to be able to read the manuscript in a condense format, however that is a lot of work to put out. But I’ve found in this business, it’s all about marketing and selling what you have. Yes! I admit that it’s fun at times, however the time-consuming factor is what gets me. I am hoping to put Someone for Me into the hands of a reliable publisher who will open the door for Someone for me 2- Tina’s Turn and Someone for Me 3- Stone’s Story. I am after all about three books ahead of the game.
