Today is the day.

I have listed "Her Blackened Soul" for pre order on Amazon Kindle. Now this was quite a lengthy process and I'm not the most tech savvy so it took a couple of cups of coffee in order to get through the process, but after a file conversion, an edit and three more edits and interior reviews, I am happy to say it is in motion.

I have set the date for 25th March, I feel this is plenty of time and in alignment with what I had already planned for it. I did want a Spring release so this works out so nicely.

I just want to say a big thank you for all of you who either follow, comment or like my work or posts here on Goodreads, Facebook and Twitter as it means a great deal to me and believe it or not, a small comment or follow can make the world of difference to a new author.

I thought I would give you a quick insight about "Her Blackened Soul", for those of you, who don't know what it is about.

Hello all, I just wanted to touch base with you. I was having some issues with my book and the way it looked so I decided to have a professional formatter format the manuscript for me!

I spoke to my cover designer and friend Johannus Steger about this and he suggested the contact and set it all up between me and the manuscript formatter, I sent it to her and it was done very fast.

I am simply thrilled with what this lady has done and I have so much more confidence in it now than I did before, it is not only neater but on a whole is a much better piece of work and there was so many extras I was not expecting! It is so much clearer to read now, has a real edgy look to it and all in all I am very happy. Angelique Anderson, did a fantastic job on it and all within a day, absolutely amazing. My favourite part is the little daggers on the chapter headings, simply mesmerizing!

So with this new addition to it, I have made all the changes on Createspace and Amazon and doing the kindle version now as we speak so within a day or two, it should be back up online for purchase. This is very exciting and I will update you all again when it is up, this does of course mean a new giveaway as it is a NEW edition :)

Hello everyone, Isra here, I apologise for my absence in recent weeks. I have been very unwell and also had to take a break from things following an MRI scan at the hospital as I had a bad reaction to the contrast agent they gave me for the scan. I won't go into detail about my health issues as I don't want to bore you all but I hope it will all be cleared up soon, following results from the scan.

So as you can imagine, not much has been done, so no writing, I've barely had the energy for social media and I've had to rest, which for someone who is active with my hands, wasn't easy to do. The good news is I am a lot better and I am looking into starting up my writing again.

I am currently sat looking at my ideas book, which recently has a new addition as I want to do a prequel to "Her Blackened Soul" which will feature three of the main characters and focus on Isra's life before the dark. This is still a very rough idea but I expect work to start on it after I have finished the third book in the series, so this would likely be a year or two away yet, but it never hurts to plan ahead.

Book two is halfway written, so I am not far away from this goal. I would prefer the third book in the series to be written before I attempt the prequel as I want it to keep it as true to the story as possible, rather than going back and re adding and re writing, writing things out by starting before.

I am planning another giveaway for July, this will be on Goodreads... so keep an eye out for that.

I also want to do another psychic forecast but as yet haven't had the time or energy, however I will get this done before August.

Hello everyone, Isra here I've had a couple of pretty rough days, jam
packed with dishonesty, deceit and betrayal and it has made me think, how can you stay positive when you're in the middle of a storm? So that has inspired today's post.

We all get days where we want to throw in the towel and just give up and sometimes we get to the point where we actually do give up and lose hope for a while, but what if you're not at that point yet and you just want something so that you can hang in there? What can you do?

1. Talk to trusted friends. This is immensely important, only share with those who you trust.
2. Meditate, find some calming music and get your fix of inner peace and relaxation. It is proven that just five minutes of meditation can help soothe the mind, relax the body and soothe the soul so this should be on your list.
3. Take a step back from everything, emails, social media, switch the phone on silent, turn the doorbell off. Take a break from the world and relax.
4. Focus on what makes happy, this is a given, find the things that you enjoy and make them your sole focus and ideal distraction.
5. Stay busy, this one is crucial. Find that to do list, get on with things you've been putting off doing and stay busy. Whether it's writing, reading, cleaning around the house or seeing a friend or taking up a new hobby or learning a new skill, do it.
6. Think and feel positively about the people, situation, that has made you feel so negative and rubbish about yourself. Positive affirmations can help here, just saying a few words for example, “I hope and believe with all my heart that this will turn out okay for everyone involved.” Can make a world of difference! Don't dwell on it, this is when problems really do come out of nowhere and most of the time what we think and what is going on when it comes to a storm of emotions, are two different things. Don't try to communicate or deal with the people, situation involved, unless it is something that is deeply serious that needs urgent attention from yourself or other organisations such as the police.
7. Continue with your day to day business as if nothing has happened. This one might seem silly but doing what you normally do, will make you feel a lot better, a lot more peaceful and a lot more relaxed and calm. I'm not saying bury your head in the sand, but focus on the positive things, and the things you do every day while you weather the storm.


Now let's get to feeling good about ourselves, shall we?

Here are ten positive affirmations that you can use to feel good about yourself at a low moment.

1. I am beautiful.
2. I am loving and I am loved.
3. I am strong and I can get through this.
4. I am powerful.
5. I am blessed.
6. I am intelligent and gifted.
7. I have a lot of love in me and a lot of love for others.
8. I am wise from my experiences.
9. I am forgiving and I forgive myself.
10. I am at peace with myself.

Of course you can add your own, using your own words and phrases and you can also find lots of affirmations on the web, by searching in a search engine, such as google.


Now let's think about the storm that has got you so much in a funk. Don't analyse it too much, just focus on the key aspects and how it has made you feel. It may be helpful to write down the entire event including how you feel about what has happened on a piece of paper and then burning it to release it.

It can also be helpful to say a few words or positive prayer for a good outcome for yourself and everyone involved in the situation. Have compassion, consider everyone's feelings who is involved, put yourself in their shoes for a moment. Forgive yourself and forgive anyone involved. Only hope for the best solution that is kind and just for all involved. By staying mad at someone, we sometimes attract more of the bad situation that we don't want but if we have compassion and understanding and focus positively, we empower the situation as well as ourselves with positive vibes.

Last thing I want to say, if your situation is something serious such as you are being harassed, taunted, emotionally abused , physically abused or being spoken to or dealt with negatively, please do contact your local police force and seek support from the relevant organisation. Don't just sit there and suffer in silence. Take that first step and make the change for yourself.

I hope the next time I write I can post something a lot more upbeat and fun but this has given me a good distraction from it all. So stay positive, stay strong and be you!

Hello everyone it has been a hectic month here so I have only just got back into the swing of things. The good news is I have been ruled out from all the serious conditions, cancers etc regarding my ongoing stomach pains, the bad news as a result of this I've been spending a lot of time under specialists and frequent hospital visits which has resulted in me resting and sitting down a lot so not a lot has been done.

Okay well the cover for "Her Blackened Heart" is under way, I have a fantastic designer by the name of Johannus Steger who has come up with a fab cover for the new novel in the Blackened Series.

Regarding the planned giveaway and the planned forecast, these will happen, I am not too sure when as yet, I have a somewhat evasive hospital procedure tomorrow where I will be under general anaesthetic so I will probably know more of what I can and can't do in the next couple of weeks.

In the meantime I will do my best to update you all on my related writing activities and continue the previews on twitter which I have been doing.

Hello everyone, just a little post from as I logged into my emails this morning to find my cover for "Her Blackened Heart" has been finished so I thought I would tell you all about it!

I am so proud to present to you all the cover for my second novel, "Her Blackened Heart" , the sequel to "Her Blackened Soul"

It took a while for my designer to finish it but he did not disappoint. The cover image is an anatomical heart in red as I requested with a lady on the front and featuring a beautifully, dark scene on the back with a graveyard with a raven perched on a gravestone as the background for the blurb.

I am more than impressed with this and hope this alone will help me to get the work finished very soon, as I am tying up loose ends right now from the earlier segments in the book, so I am looking to get it to it's dramatic climax very soon!

I am currently working on writing as I find myself feeling a little better today so hopefully no more delays to things!

Hello everyone, Isra here. So as I write this it's four o'clock in the morning UK time and I've just finished looking at the reviews for Kissing Darkness. To be honest, I don't check them often as I am very busy writing. I am releasing my first PNR (Paranormal romance) in May 2022 and am half a chapter away from finishing that. But I just wanted to pop on here and acknowledge the grand reception Kissing Darkness has had on Goodreads.

Two things to note: 1. It was published Summer of 2019. 2. It is the fifth in the series.

Now I have always personally raved about this book as it was my absolute favourite out of all of them to write. But reading these reviews has made my day because now it is the readers favourite too. While I have taken the time to read and reply to every single review on itself, I wanted to do a little acknowledgment here and just say how thankful I am for so many people taking a chance on a fifth book out of eight-book series. It really has made my day.

To note further, The Dark Spell series final three remaining books will be out early 2022 and I can't wait to bring them to you!!
