When the Voices Go Dark

I was looking at an article on how writers should set a schedule for writing and write something everyday, even if it has nothing to do with your book. This is suppose to help you with that dreaded disease called writer’s block. Or as I call it  when the voices go dark. I guess I am one of those frenzy type of writers. I can go a day, a week, or more then suddenly BAM! the  characters come back and I can see the story flashing in my head and off I am again putting down on paper the pictures and voices I see, creating a new world. I have tried the various methods of the tried and true, but it seems for me I just need to let my story come to life inside of me in its own way before I can put it  down on paper. What is your way of fighting writers block?

Young Adult (and Kids) Book Central

A huge shout out to YABC for allowing me to guest blog on their popular website. It was huge fun to write about the highs and lows of self-publishing for the first time author.  If you wander over you’ll get the added bonus of seeing a rare pic of my imaginary friend, Percy (he’s a hoot)!

Find the post here, hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. Let me know what you think!!
