It’s not that it was frigid daily. It’s because all at once, Winter Storm Jonas decided to dump a mountain of snow on our doorsteps. My kids missed seven days of school thanks to it.

But now, the sun is shining. The birds are singing. People are smiling. Flower buds are blooming. I can’t tell you how happy we ar...

My Thoughts: Grace

Picture You ever notice a theme in your life? Hear a certain word over and over? Wonder if God is trying to tell you something?

That's what I'm beginning to think. In January and February, I wrote a rough draft of a novel which is book two in a series I'm doing. The theme: grace.

Then I read a book with the same theme. And then I went to church with the same theme. I can't tell if God is asking me to be more graceful, to continue writing about grace, or if He simply wants me to share what I've learned...

New TBT Coming Soon

Happy Thursday, reader friends! I will be changing Thursdays pretty soon. Instead of having the occasional TBT post and Reviews, I'm going to be doing something new. Every Thursday, starting March 24th, I will be featuring an author's TBT novel. Of course I'll include information about the book and the author. I look forward to sharing these stories knowing we can never have too many books to read.

Have a blessed Thursday!!

Review: Terri Blackstock's If I Run

Picture My, oh my, oh my do I have a review for you today! I just finished reading If I Run by Terri Blackstock. My mind is still spinning, but let me see if I can make sense of my thoughts for you.

First, the story wasn't at all what I was expecting. I've read Ms. Blackstock in the past. I enjoy how she does suspense.
