As a high school librarian by day, it’s safe to say June is one of my favorite months because it means the beginning of SUMMER BREAK. And I’ve never felt like I’ve needed it more than after this school year, which was a particularly grueling one due to the pandemic.

So here’s the thing… 

I know that Wrath’s Storm is part of the Masters’ Admiralty series, and maybe you haven’t read any of those books yet. It can be intimidating to jump into a larger series. I wanted to let you know that while Wrath’s Storm is set within the Masters’ Admiralty world, it can still be read as a standalone. That’s right! You don’t have to read all the previous books to be able to understand and enjoy this one. 

Lila and I have worked hard to create several “entry points” to the Masters’ Admiralty series (as well at the Trinity Masters), so that readers who might discover the stories late don’t have to go back and read them all to be able to join in. Wrath’s Storm is one of those entry points. The other entry point for the Masters’ Admiralty series would be Treachery’s Devotion. So if you haven’t read the series, why not start here?
