Next book: Imitation Learning

I've been thinking about this concept..
It's not really anything new. Although, the way I want to position and explain it is new.
The idea is around how we learn. How I learn. And how children learn.
Until they reach a certain age, at least.

How do young kids learn?
They imitate.
And looking back on how I've learned all the things I know now, it is a similar method.
Find someone, who's great at what you want to learn.
Choose a specific part of that skill, a certain design, a drawing - something awesome.
Then sit down and start recreating that specific thing.
What you'll soon come to realize is that copying - or imitating - is an incredible efficient way to learning a skill.
"Learning by doing." Or "Learning by making."
It's nothing new, but I think there's a need for a book that provides a concrete method to how to rediscover the power or Imitation Learning.

This was how I learned to play guitar, how I learned to design and build websites (like https://tallsome.com/), and how I'm learning anything necessary for pursuing the dream of becoming totally free through solopreneurship.

In the next couple of months, I'll be refining the idea and methodology around this concept. Until it's concrete and actionable enough to present as an input in the whole discussion around the future of education.

Stay tuned, talk soon,
Rued
