Lauri Fortino is the 2022 recipient of the Kate Dopirak Craft & Community Award. She is the author of THE PEDDLER'S BED, a children’s picture book illustrated by Bong Redila. She is a freelance writer, a transcriptionist, and a retired library assistant. She shares and celebrates picture books on her site, Frog On A Blog.
