I fell in love with Fred Astaire at the age of seven. My path was clear, i wanted to dance. I went on to become a professional dancer touring Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Great Britain, crossing over into singing in my early twenties. Writing began for me as poetry in my teens as I vented my pubescent philosophical mind and the poems became songs as I ventured into music fronting rock bands, duos, trios, tribute acts and jazz ensembles. Now I am a wife, a mother and a writer! Like Madonna, i just keep on reinventing myself! (With perhaps a little less controversy!)

Fitting in

Nobody ever blossomed from being belittled. Shame holds no inspirational qualities. Nobody ever lashed out because they felt wonderful about who they were. These are opposing actions and emotions that cannot work together.
