A Book Lover's Emporium Book Blog Reviews: Briguella by Vicki Fitzgerald
Wow - I had to share this awesome review that Briguella has been given by A Book Lovers Emporium.
Huge thanks!
"This was an amazing all-consuming book that I read in a day. Once I started I literally could not put it down it was so good. It is wonderfully written, the writing of this story is very deep and detailed which I really did enjoy given the subject matter. You could tell a lot of time and research had gone into this book to make it an addictive read.
"A serial killer is on the loose, DCI Beckley is in charge of this harrowing case and journalist Kate Rivendale gets involved deeper than she ever thought she would. Kate is passionate about her job but just how far will she go to catch this evil dangerous man; can DCI Beckley continue to do his job properly and catch this killer ignoring that small spark of chemistry that they both feel towards each other. The characters were all expertly written, I found them very, very easy to connect with and their personalities and characters shone through in this story.
"Reading this book was like being suspended on the precipice of a very high mountain; not knowing if you were going to fall, that knot in your stomach, the feeling of anticipation was an all-time high, the excitement, the pressure, the twists, the gruesome moments were just magnificently captured in these pages.
"A fantastic book that I would recommend to anyone who likes a good thriller, the chase and the kill - you won't be disappointed !!!!

Unveiling of my book trailer for Briguella
The Book Trailer - Briguella
I am thrilled to unveil the book trailer that has been made for Briguella!
Now I can picture it on the big screen! #tvdrama #hollywoodmovie #bigdreams
Check it out - https://www.goodreads.com/videos/1302...
After seven women fall victim to a serial killer, journalist Kate Rivendale becomes embroiled in the manhunt. The authorities have no suspect, only one forensic link dating way back to the 1930s.
Detective Chief Inspector William Beckley needs to salvage his career; he has too many deaths on his conscience. Beckley entices Kate to go undercover, a decision which backfires with devastating consequences.
While DCI Beckley reaches a horrifying conclusion about the murderer Kate enters a desperate fight for her life... while battling to keep her own secrets buried.

All those lovely bloggers & reviewers
Kind book bloggers & reviewers !
I had no idea that there were so many lovely book bloggers & reviewers out there that are willing to read books simply because they adore novels.
I have been searching for reviewers for my debut novel and so far I have had a fantastic response from so many kind people who are willing to spare their own time.
One blog I came across today that has stuck in my mind is written by a 21-year old Portuguese girl, Vanessa Teixeira.
The blog is packed with beautiful pictures and I love the way she presents them alongside her reviews. I simply have to share it with you!

Briguella - Huge Thanks!
I want to start my first blog on goodreads by saying a huge thank you to everyone who has supported me with my debut novel.
Taking a leap of faith in yourself is a massive step. I put my successful Public Relations company on hold to follow my dream of becoming a published author.
I won't lie, it has been a daunting journey, and disheartening in the face of rejections from literary agents. What kept me going was the knowledge that JK Rowling was apparently rejected 12 times with Harry Potter. Who would have thought it! So, with that in mind I was determined not to give up. I kept going until my manuscript ended up in the right hands! Thankfully Miika at Creativia loved the book and offered to publish it. To him, I am extremely grateful.
Briguella was first released as an eBook at the end of November and the paperback became available only last week! Holding the book in my hands for the first time was a wonderful moment and huge accomplishment. Now the scary bit starts - the reviews!! So far, I have been humbled by the amazing 5* reviews on Amazon. Briguella won't be to everyone taste but I hope that the majority of you will love it! If you have read it, or plan on reading my book, please do spare a minute or two to add a review / rating. Hopefully it will be positive but I can take it if it's bad lol!
Anyway I'll end once again by saying thank you to everyone - my family, my publisher, forensic experts, paramedics, crime scene investigators, mortuary staff, police experts and of course my first readers!
