My review of Shifted Obsessions, by C.E. Black
I went into this book with high expectations, and as usual, they were exceeded. The level of skill in which Black uses to execute her work, is highly commendable. The book was intriguing and complex; several sub-plots that coincided with the main story, adding layers to an already riveting tale. The characters were fascinating, yet familiar. As a reader, you become invested in these characters, and find yourself anticipating what will happen to them next, while feeling like you are in the book with them while it happens. Your emotions mingle with the ones bleeding off the pages of this story, and you don’t just read the words – you feel them. Detailed description allows you to clearly visualize the scenes as they unfold. The story grabs you from the first page, and stays with you long after the last one is turned.
The Alpha Division is a secret group of shifters that have been policing the paranormals hiding amongst the humans – in plain sight. Events have unfolded, drawing government attention to the secret group, and an unlikely alliance is formed. Shifted Obsessions, is the third in this captivating series – each book focussing on a different romance between characters, while continuing the ongoing story through each one.
In this book, Gregory – a.k.a, Bear – is struggling with his feelings for the feisty Elizabeth – a.k.a, Liz – who happens to be fighting her own feelings for the ‘gentle giant’, while hiding a secret from him, as well. As part of the Alpha Team, Bear is helping to find the monster behind the latest threat against Shifters, and now, humans. Twists and turns in the development of this investigation, produces more questions and shocks, leaving the team scrambling for answers, and a solution. Will the Team catch the madman who is responsible for this latest atrocity, and finally get the answers they have been searching for? How will Bear handle the news about the secret that Liz has been keeping? Do they finally realize that by fighting their feelings for each other, they have only been fighting the inevitable? Can the heat between them ignite a passion so hot, that it forces them to see the deeper feelings beneath the surface? Find out in this third epic installment of the Alpha Division by C.E. Black, Shifted Obsessions.

My Review of Priest, by Sierra Simone
I am not sure what I was expecting when I began reading this book, but after the Prologue, I knew it was going to be memorable.
The substantial knowledge of literacy, coupled with the composition of the story, created a cadence that exhilarated my love for eloquent words. The way this story was written was almost poetic in the use of descriptive and obscure words, blended ingeniously with the more laymen terms most readers associate with. The ebb and flow of this intelligent technique only added to the experience of reading. In simpler terms, the story was extremely well written, and the language used was very beautiful and intelligent.
The idea behind the corruption of a man in authority, is one that most of us have harbored a fantasy or two about, in our most private thoughts. The fact that it was a priest – a man of virtue and purity – made his fall from grace, all the more scandalous. What is the difference between a spiritual man fighting against temptation, or a sinning man reaching for divine absolution? This is the struggle that Father Bell faces, as his internal battle wages between his holy love for his God, and his baser and more primal love for the willing flesh of his greatest test of faith, Poppy Danforth.
This was such an exquisite experience to witness from the MPOV, and I thoroughly enjoyed every enthralling and captivating word. Humanity, in all its glorious imperfection, was wonderfully explored in this story. The author weaved a masterpiece of emotions throughout, and explained in amazing detail and clarity the very primal desires of man and flesh. It was enticingly erotic. It is accurate to state that the raw emotion that seeps and bleeds from the pages, will linger long after the final word is read. The illustrative and informative depiction of the church, and all the terminology required, was exceptional. Overall, a resplendent story with a majestic quality of writing.

My review of Shifted Undercover by C.E. Black – Gathering Darkness Anthology
Shifted Undercover was exactly what I was expecting from C.E. Black; excellent execution, well-developed characters, fast-paced and engaging story, detailed description, and enough steam in the sex scenes to curl the pages!
Nikki and Adam are newlyweds, flying through the silver skies, travelling to their honeymoon destination – or so it seemed on the surface. Secret agendas, and hidden plans, begin to unravel after chaos erupts on the plane. Nikki is not willing to lose the love she has found in Adam over a flight plan gone wrong, and Adam is determined to risk it all for the love of his woman; revealing the beast that resides within the man. Can Nikki accept that her new husband has hidden this side of himself from her, and what about her own secrets exposed? Will they even survive the flight long enough to find out, or to have the honeymoon they really wanted? Find out in this tale of love, lies, a honeymoon, and a hijacking.
I have loved everything that this author has written, and this was no exception. Her Shifted series are some of my favorite “furry” stories. This one was so good that I didn’t want it to end! An alpha male who oozes sex-appeal and dominance, coupled with exciting fight scenes and toe-curling sex – yes, please! The detail was so well-written, that I felt like a passenger on the plane with them. The dialogue was witty and fluent as it was exchanged between characters. I can’t wait to read more from this author. Congratulations, C.E. Black, on another successful accomplishment.

My review of Uniquely Mine by Theresa Sederholt
I was fortunate enough to receive an ARC copy of this book. The book will be available November 10, 2015.
After reading this newest book from, Theresa Sederholt, I can honestly say that it is the same excellent quality that one has come to respect and admire in her work.
The story is based in New York; which is described in such exquisite detail, you feel like a native of the city yourself. You can almost feel the heartbeat of the city around you. The main character, Fitz, fights gruesome crimes by day, and his hidden desires by night. Fighting the ghosts of a past that has left him damaged, he became a police officer to save lives, because of the one life that he couldn’t. With a new serial killer on the loose, he has no choice but to face his hidden desires for one woman, the one that is his sole reason to live, as she is now the target of a sadistic killer. Mackena, is tired of burying her feelings for her lifelong hero, but with the threat of a madman targeting her life, she refuses to be buried with her feelings unrealised. She gives voice to the love that has consumed her for far too long; a young girl’s tender crush, transformed into a woman’s explosive passion. When your whole world is threatened, love is all you have to survive. Will these two fated souls stay forever out of reach, or will the hero finally realise that they can save each other? Find out in this amazing book, which promises to be a thrilling new series.
I found the characters very well developed, and became invested in several of them right from the beginning. I was hanging on to every page, anxious about what might happen to these characters as I continued. Like any good suspense story, you will be afraid to turn the page, yet compelled to find out what happens next. The detail of the crimes and the police work was incredibly well written; the technical aspects, the criminal evidence, the legal terms, and the inner workings of a police case. The fact that we are given a backseat ride in the killer’s mind during the story, is brilliant. The story flowed at a steady pace, allowing the reader time to digest the information, which was exact, and explained in superb detail.
I went into this book with high expectations, and I wasn’t surprised when the story surpassed them. Congratulations, Theresa Sederholt, on another great masterpiece!

Unity
In any field, you will find those who view their world as a competition, or those who view it as a community. Writers and authors are no exception. I have seen both sides, but it is the love and support of community I wish to adress.
When my mother passed away, I realized life was too short to live with unfulfilled dreams. I decided to tackle one of my dreams, and began writing. I wasn’t fooling myself into believing it would be easy, or that I would produce anything that would make prestigious lists. I just wanted to be able to look back and say, “I did it. Sink or swim, I did it.” I am so glad I did, and I hope my mother can see what the legacy of her love has inspired me to achieve.
The most rewarding and humbling part of this journey for me has been the people; most especially, the authors. I am an avid reader myself and have a long list of names that are literary heroes to me, but it is the ones that I have met along the way that have become my true heroes. Unity and community have never been more apparent to me. Did you know, the biggest support system and cheering section for a writer/author is the community of other writers/authors? They are some of the most generous, kind, compassionate, helpful, and supportive people you will have the pleasure of knowing. There are four particular women that have shown me the unity that can be found in sharing a dream. There is no bias or judgement, just encouragement and friendship. My gratitude towards these women is only surpassed by their grace. I often wonder if my mother sent me these angels – women that are so pure of spirit, they restore your faith in humanity. I am honored to be included in a community that houses such amazing talent, and even more amazing people.
In conclusion, I want to thank these women (you know who you are) for taking a fledgling, and helping her find her wings. It is a privilege to be in this community with you.

Accomplishments and Acknowledgements
The release of Buffed (Destinations Series #2) has arrived for me, but I can’t take all the credit. Without the help, encouragement, and support of some amazing people along the way, I would not be celebrating this accomplishment.
I would like to take this time to share my day with the people who made it possible. I would like to thank Carly O’Donaghue; Patricia Martinez, Nicole Johnson, Shell Williams, and Lisa Thow for working so hard to help me reach this milestone. They were the foundation that shared and promoted for me, and I would not have been seen without them. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. I am also going to include the Acknowledgement section in the book, to show you how many others helped me along the way.
Acknowledgements
I would like to thank all the people that helped me to continue my dream of being a writer; to my family who suffered with me through the struggles, yet continued to encourage me and share in my accomplishments; to my sister who believed in me and kept reminding me I could do this; to my in-laws and friends, who supported me, and listened; to my best-friend, who has been reading my stories since we were teens. To my mother, who taught me what it means to reach for a dream, and always saw the best in me. I know that she is watching me from heaven, and I still feel her endless love and devotion.
I want to mention others who have helped me along the way; Authors C.E. Black, Theresa Sederholt, Imy Santiago, and Lizzy Roberts, for all of your support and advice (you ladies are amazing and I couldn’t have done this without your kindness); my amazing Street Team, Destinations Divas, who are the best group of pimpers, supporters, and cheerleaders (I love you guys); to groups like Book B’s and Bonded By Books (I have met some incredible women through these that I now call friends); to bloggers such as Erotic Romance Book Blog With Sandy, Just Another Book Bitch, Perusing The Pages, Two Ordinary Girls And Their Books, Deb’s Books; and so many more that helped me reach readers and promoted for me (you ladies are the best).
Thank you to everyone for helping to make my dreams come true. I couldn’t have done this without you.
Cheers to all of us for reaching this day!
