Hi there! It's me, the most irregular blogger on the planet - how are you?
I know I'm a little late with this post, but I have a good reason - I was writing a new series for ya'll! Part One has just been released
and you can expect part two in a little less than two weeks!
That girl is mine is a forbidden romance, spanning three parts. It follows the lives of Dylan and Avery as they come to realise they have feeling for each other. Only problem is, Avery is already taken. She's dating Dylan's high school bestie, Josh. The road will not be smooth for any of them...
I could tell you more but I don't want to ruin anything for you beyond the basic premise. But I will add that Avery is a dancer, Dylan is a tattoo artist, and Josh is a medical intern. Everyone is living their lives happily until Avery gets hurt and Dylan feels responsible. So while Josh is at work, Dylan watches over Avery...

Now, moving on! Remember how in my last post, I said I'd tell you what happened when my ad got blocked? Well, Facebook blocked me and said they wouldn't advertise Stepsister Devotion because my page had been marked as porn (meanwhile, I'm still disputing this a month later). I wondered why someone would do that to me, and searched Google, trying to see if maybe there was a group of anti-eve-ers out there (to my knowledge, there isn't), and what did I find? A PORN SITE FOR A GIRL WITH MY NAME! *gasps!* *giggles* *snorts*
(She's very pretty btw) but, wow! How did I manage to miss that!? Hahahha!
Before I released a novel, if I googled myself (yes, I admit to googling myself) I searched 'Evelyn' and not 'Eve', and I only searched Eve Cates on Goodreads to check if another author existed with the same name. So I missed the whole shares-a-name-with-a-porn-chick thing before I stared this publishing journey.
It's funny though, I had to have a laugh when I realized. Anyway, that's it from me. I'll try to be more regular, but I'm probably going to post the next time I have a release. I'm hopeless at this promo thing.
