Tardigrada illustrations

Water-bears, tardigrades, are small creatures, size like a , and have eight limbs. They are transpirant, but have colors ranging from black, brown, red, yellow to white, but blue and violet are not included. They have a round mouth. They can eject two daggers out of it to puncture moss cells, rotifers and algae, and shoot a "kissing mouth" out to suck in juices. Their eyes are darker spots on both sides of the head, able to see light and dark.
What is it like to be a strange one like that? I am giving them human emotions, human body language and human reactions. My drawings feels weird sometimes ^_^

Poetic justice

To me, it is important that a story ends well. That is , the protagonist developes in a way that is satisfying. Some characters are more static, like a funny animal cat i am drawing. She gets her ego tailored to the current story, if it is a crime story she is smart and clever, a humoristic tale, she will be eccentric. Felina will usually always have fantasy , and guts to take on all situations. I have experimented with genres when drawing her stories. Just now, she is fighting against gods in a science fiction tale, later, she will travel the milky way with the three furies, the crone, the woman and the maiden. Looking forward to it, all tales surprises you in some way! ^__^

THe well of plots

A couple of years ago, I decided to write some short stories. I began with titles, and interwievs of my coworkers at the natural historical museum where I work part time. There were many leads into stories by their memories and tales. ONe told about the sea when she grew up. ABout the sudden wind and waves that could upend your boat and kill you. ABout the beach where the children lit fires and played with things they found, making a small store and selling rocks and shells to each other.
i thought about a story called "black arms".
A child would find a figure of a sea creature. She would tell her parents about her find, and they would take it to the local inn to show it to tourists, an hoping to sell it.
The story has not evolved further, I got lots of other ideas and beginnings, but few has more than five written pages.
STill, there is these tales waiting to be developed. Some day my short fantasy stories will surface.
"The ghost in the machine", "the tiger bride", "the ship of fools" and many more ...

The language of the story

Alice in Wonderland of Lewis Caroll, illustrated by John Tenniel, had been different without the images.
But the life in the story is always the content ... the ideas.
