**PROLOGUE** Wade Parks' POV.
Ladies, here is a CUT scene from ‘Addicted to Mr. Parks’ I want to share with you all. I hate that it didn’t make it into the book, but when I have a word count to abide by from my editor, I have to be ruthless. That doesn’t mean I have to delete it entirely, though! So here is the deleted prologue for Addicted to Mr. Parks - Wade’s POV.

Prologue.
Wade.
Evelyn Banks is captivating, feisty and beautiful. Fuck, is she beautiful. Her curves–Jesus. And that ass–Damn. I have never seen such a perfectly formed rear. And how many times I have fantasized about fucking it is obscene. The way she calls my name when I make her come, the feeling of her fingernails digging into my flesh is still so raw that my dick grows thick and hard every time I think about it. Every time I think about her. Fuck, these fantasies need to stop.
She's an alcoholic? Shit. How the fuck did I miss something like this? Yes she was drinking at lunch time, erratically leaving work and ending up in bars, but whenever I had the privilege of being in her presence, alcohol never once passed her luscious, pink lips. Jesus, her lips. The constant images of her lips wrapped around my cock swarm around my mind, not letting me think of anything else. Evelyn Banks has consumed me. She is everywhere. Interlaced and twisted into the dark depths of my soul. She has taken my perfect world and turned it on its head. Gone are the days where I would go fuck a woman, unload and leave.
Something elevated between us the day she walked into my office, so confident, sexy and sassy. I saw the way she looked at me. Her wide, bright amber eyes were so bewitching that they sucked me in and clutched tightly. She never wanted me, but then she never wanted me to stop pursuing her, either. She was a mind-fuck, crazy, impulsive, and her bad temper matched mine. Those facts alone made me want her, desire her. I craved to be around her craziness and she yearned to be around mine.
It was all one big fuck up.
I slump down into my office chair making the leather creak through the silence of the room. I have been pondering in my office all day, and haven’t done fuck all except attend a meeting I had to present this morning. My mind is too preoccupied. Instead of working, I’ve been staring at the walls. Pacing the floor. Clutching at my goddamn fucking hair.
It's been three hours since I left Evelyn in her flat, and the pained look on her face when I closed the door on her life is continuously cutting through my skin, and pouring into my veins.
I shouldn’t feel pity, because how could she keep something like this from me? Does she not realize who I am? Doesn’t she understand that if anyone got a glimpse of someone like me, dating an alcoholic, an ex-drug user, how that could have been portrayed? Never mind the press, my father would have had a heart attack if my life had been publicly tainted. Fucking interfering bastard.
Fuck. I sound like a cocky prick. An arrogant ass. No, an arrogant arse. Yes, one of many names Evelyn liked to call me. Everything except what I asked her to call me. Wade. She screamed my name loud enough when I was inside her, filling her delicious sweetness with all I had, but I wanted her to say it so much more. I stay in London six months out of every year, yet her English accent is one that stays with me. Her silky, smooth voice that can be stunning, especially when she's calling my name, engulfs me. Her mouth also fires out abusive language and threats, but that’s all the more reason I am captivated by this woman. She has guts, she's driven, powerful and determined. Yes, she drives me up the fucking wall by denying me, by calling me Parks, but it only heightens my infatuation with her.
However, it has to stop. Right now. It would never work. How could it? I couldn’t even look at her when she revealed her addiction to me. I wasn’t sure whether it was because she kept it from me, or because the addiction was so close to home that it made me freeze, feel distraught and disgusted.
Maybe I’m to blame. I’m the one who pursued her. She was what I wanted, and I get what I want. Every time. No one tells me no. Although, Evelyn told me no. Several times. I do not like being told no. But when Evelyn told me no, it spun me in a storm and made me even more determined to make her say yes. And not just when I was fucking her.
A knock on my office door forces a groan from my throat, taking me away from my dangerous thoughts. I straighten out my suit sleeves and call the intruder in.
“Yes?”
“Mr Parks,”
Oh great, it's Joanna. “What?”
She winces at my tone. “Mr Harper and Mr Mason have arrived.”
For fuck’s sake. Two pompous pricks I could do without seeing right now. They’re only here to beg me to invest in their cell phone company. If I’m making money, then I'm on board. Doesn’t mean I won't make them sweat for it, though.
I check my watch and realize my Chief financial officer is late. “Where is Mr Lawson?”
“He's outside Sir, talking to Mr Harper and—”
“Fine. Send them in.” I wave my hand dismissively.
“Mr Parks, great to see you.” I shake firm hands with the two gentlemen then scowl at Mr Lawson as he makes his late entrance.
“Morning gentlemen, if you’d like to take a seat…” Right now I have to get into business mode. No other mode is necessary. I can't afford distractions, and Evelyn Banks is a big distraction. She has no relevance in my life anymore.
