Join The Journey.....

What a blessing it is to find joy in the things you are able to do well. This journey into being a published author has been one I can honestly say I am finding major joy in. Although I still find I am even more of a reader than before I focus even more on the story seeing what the author was telling me. I see whose perspective it was told from. I cheer for the underdogs, and champion on the hero's. Now its time to take the next step on my own journey as an author. Book two of my (Where Your Heart Belongs Series) is officially on sale in paperback and on pre-sale for kindle. Part of me as just so excited for all of my readers to see where this story heads and the where the series will lead. I am even a little antsy for the world to experience the heartbreaks, the tragedy, the triumph, and the pure love of these stories.

So it's official book 2 is now on digital pre-order (released date 6.18.15) and the paperback is has been officially released. I'm beyond excited to have this step completed. What a joy this is to share my thoughts with the world.

Searching Saturdays.....

I wonder a lot of times where do people come up with their victim mentality. Many people have the mantra of "it's not my fault", or the classic "why me". Myself I am sure to have been a user of one of these two thing at some point. However now I am extremely determined to never use them to never have a even a feeling of them. I look a lot at my part in what happens in my life. I have even found myself more spiritual these past few years wondering how that "master plan" actually words reading more and more of the word of God and actually taking in the understanding. I understand I will have my wants and desires...but my steps have been ordered. So I head down the path searching for where those steps lead. This morning they led me to the back deck and a breathtaking sunrise. With that came about three new ideas. And the knowledge that If i let things come to me they will be well worth the wait.

The Process....

Who knew? How exciting it is every time I read another review. Or another want to read is posted. I am the person that read and re-reads thing so much I start feeling like I see them in real life. Funny how your mind finds the things it wants to. Now I only wonder do those moments happen for my readers. Do they find the things they have read in my words happening in real life. Another thing is I find it hard to stop seeing just about everything as a new story. The lady that always purple on three doors down, the man that walks every single morning with his dog, the cute guy with the little boy at the park. Before i I stated this process I'm not sure if my mind thought that way but now I find life so much more fun.....

Interesting this process isn't it? Well off to more I'm just simply thankful for finding something that has been full of joy.

How I find my story....

I've read millions of ways different authors pull the ideas and thoughts out and turn them into the magic we read on the pages of there books. For me the ideas are all small pieces that come to me one at a time. The family origin, the number of people in the family, the time of year it starts, the places they will go. All those things go into what the story will be and them from there I start an outline idea with all the different parts put in there to show me the story....Then of course my fingers take off whether they are writing the words in a notebook on typing them on a keypad they speed across whatever surface needed till there are no more thoughts left.

THE NEW JOURNEY

As you all get to know me you will find that I am one to try just about anything at anytime....I firmly believe we can do anything we put time and effort to.

For many years I have had the idea of becoming a published author letting someone else hear all the many story rolling around in my mind. Officially turning 33 made that page turn for me and I set my mind to the process.

As of February 2015 I have officially published my first novel 'Are You Still Down' which is part of a series 'Where Your Heart Belongs' I am so excited to finally have this process come full circle and I am hoping my stories will fill the minds and hearts of my readers they way so many stories have done that for me.

I would love feedback from you all let me know what you like about the story what you want to see happen, or what you hope happens for these characters, how the story made you feel...anything you would like to share???
